Hey on the news today they said Iron Man 2 was coming out tomorrow but on Fandango it says thursday,anyone here know who is making the mistake?

Eh, I thought the suitcase armor was pushing it too far. Too many moving pieces to be a stable armor, it would weigh too much, etc. I guess it's the born and bred engineer in me that puts limits on what I'll believe in that kind of stuff. Weird. That said I anticipate I will love this movie, though. Loved the last one and can't wait for this one. I just hope it doesn't suffer from too many characters.

But I did just see a commercial for the video game and I hope there weren't any spoilers in that.

From what I understand, in the comics the suitcase just contains the armor in a regular (if fat and packed) case. So it's not like they pulled it out of nowhere, they just adapted stuff from the source. And all things considered, I think it's a neat idea (rather surprised the comics didn't pick up on it, seems like something they'd do).

I don't think the suitcase is one he carries around with him like in the comics.  Keep in mind, I haven't seen the movie, but it looks like it's just like an emergency suit of armor that can be stored in his car and whatnot.

From what I could gather from the reviews, the suitcase armor will only figure prominently in Ironman's battle with Whiplash at the Monaco Grand Prix. I think the bigger reveal may be Whiplash's rumored upgrade at the climax of the film.

I'm guessing it's because Australia's well liked by Disney suits? *shrug* It seems unfair to me because I and my nephew have waited long enough for this movie after all the hype.
