I should get something like that going...

I just recently found out that my best friend's wife used to watch the old Rhino VHS of Pod People over and over at summer camp. It's so great to discover a MSTie that you didn't indoctrinate yourself.

Popped in Laserblast this evening. Has anyone else noticed that the guys make each other laugh a whole lot more than in any other episode I can think of? I wonder if it was nervousness from the imminent cancellation hanging over their heads. Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?

They're quite giggly in The Giant Mantis, too.

Touch of Satan - It's pretty bad when the most sympathetic characters in your movie are the villagers in the lynch mob. How does a 70s movie this bad, this overloaded with pauses, not have William Shatner in it?
"They're just pausing out of spite, now!"

Great moment, especially their reaction and use of it later. I liked that we referenced that in the Quiptracks for HULK.

"Ding ding ding ding! That's the train going through the pause!!"
This movie is as good as Twilight :)

608: Code Name: Diamond Head, starring Elaan of Troyius and Lovejoy.

I love the TV ones they do (have any of these been officially released yet? Rights issues, maybe?)

Me too, but that Lovejoy stuff got old really fast. I don't even remember that show.

Oh, but those commercials were on CONSTANTLY on A&E (and any of the other networks that they owned).

I never saw them, was completely unaware of the show, and was very confused by the dozen or so references in Codename: Diamondhead. Are they funny if you were aware of Lovejoy?

I just finished watching Tormented, and I have to say despite the pretty low budget, it's not such a bad movie. If I could, I'd write up a script and do a remake of this film but I'd make Vi a more sympathetic character.
Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?
