I bought the Demolition Man/Over the Top double feature DVD a few months ago.  I'm a Stallone fan for the most part, but OTT is just stupid.  It should make for a perfect rifftrack.

I did the same thing...I think the sad part is that I bought it BECAUSE it was one of the cheesiest movies I know of. I'd just watched the Road House riff and thought about other movies from that era that were entertaining and just plain silly... OTT was a goldmine, which is why I've been lobbying for it on the forums for awhile

Demolition man might have too much cursing for Mike and gang, but it would be a gold mine.   Wesley Snipes looked like he was having FAR too much fun making that film.   Plus, oggling Sandra Bullock IS a good thing too.

Demolition man isn't half as bad as Judge Dredd

mrbasehart

Demolition Man is a great film! I'm hoping for a special edition to arrive one day...

Though of course swearing was part of the joke.

Well we just picked up the 2 pack from Best Buy, so please riff Demolition Man and make the other 5 bucks of our puchase worth the while. :^)

Did you SEE Road House? I mean, that's a much harder "R" than Demolition Man, so I doubt that would stop Mike. But then again, one could argue that Road House was a special case; after all, Mike tries to keep it family-watchable.

I suggested 3 movies to Rifftrax:

(1) Battlefield Earth
(2) Over the Top
(3) Batman and Robin

#1 came true.  Looks #2 is as well !!!  When will #3 come to us??

Mike and company:  Thanks for all the great stuff.  It took me 5 times to get thru Battlefield Earth but I did it!!  That is Manos-level pain.  Can't wait for Over the Top.

Now you see that evil will always triumph ... because good is dumb.

Yeah. And what about Point Break. I'm pretty sure it had over 100 F*#ks in it.

sarcasm_made_Easy

I was quite taken aback by the nudity in Roadhouse.  I had only seen the TV version and at the first umm, sex scene I was like "WHAT THE!?"  Then the great white hype, aka Swayzee ass, was not quite what I was expecting either.  It was a big difference from the TV version.

I don't think it can get much worse than Swayzee's ass, personally. I can't imagine what that must be like for you male types.
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

Minnesota

lol thats why mike warned us right before, so we could all look away (i know i did)

AmandaGal

Yeah, for me it was kind of like a traffic accident.  I tried to look away but I couldn't resist.
