I remember seeing it on one of those I Love The 80s Shows and thought, "Wow, that is ridiculous!"

I think Mike Riffing on someone is kinda like 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon.  There's nobody he hasn't touched.  There are probably only about 10 people he's never made a published comment about it in some form or another.

Use of the words Riff or Riffing should be understood in the context of commentary provided at or via Rifftrax.com
Don't make me 'lawyer up' my questions.

OH MAN! Having just read up on it, I can't wait! I bet this is an instant classic, like Roadhouse!
FINE

But lawyering up the questions is one of our favorite pastimes (mods included).

I remember something about The Sparkplug, and how it's "gonna light you up."

I'm shocked so many of you haven't heard of "Over the Top".  It's one of the all time great horrible concepts for a movie.

Here.  Soak up the cheese.

gammer

I remember some "dude" drinking a quart of oil before a competition, then after he loses they show the guy downing some Pepto-Bismal.

Bob

All I remember is the dumb a** whiny kid in this movie is......

THE WORST FRAKIN' CHILD ACTOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!   I MEAN IT, YOU WILL PRAY FOR HIS PAINFUL DEATH.

Whew, all better now.

Same here.  I remember watching this with my cousin when we were kids, and emulating the "over the top" arm-wrestling move on each other.  It has a very Road House/Point Break kind of cheese factor to it.  Should be a good one.

Let the Stallone impersonations begin!
