I think they should have the villain in the next one be Harley Quinn, with a very little of Joker being in Arkham. And she finally breaks him out at the end.

Investigate the lower right corner of the B&W photo of Heaht.  ::)

Doctor Who?

Hey what about a version  of The Mad Hatter who uses drugs to control people?  Does anyone else think that would make a good villain?

Wouldn't that be like a version of Two Face who makes decisions using a Magic 8 Ball?

Aslong as it wasn't too similar to Scarecrow who used the hallucinogenic gas.

bratpop

What about Joel Schumacher as a villain? He can squirt acid on people with a giant nipple.

I don't think so.  He would still be controlling people's minds he would just be using a means that would work better in these movies.  I don't think him taking over people's minds with a hat would work in these movies but drugs I think would.

I see what you're saying, but that's the Hatter's gimmick, his theme, his milieu, his... (Idiom, sir?) You might as well have the Riddler leave clues in haiku form.

bratpop

How about if he just has an umbrella that gives people a splitting headache?

TTYT

Nah, too much Penguin territory.

I kind of think Killer Croc is up next, considering the episode with him in Gotham Knight.

Although if you really want a left field guess: A very sinister version of Baby Doll from The Animated Series

I think it would be cool to have a creature type villain. Something totally different than the types of villain Batman has fought already.

In reality, they will have to deal with Batman's becoming a "dark knight" with the public presumably turning against him and the authorities after him. So what villain would be best to capitalize on that? I'm thinking some form of politician or something. Someone that is the bad guy, but the public likes. Does anybody know if there is a villain like that in Batman's rogues gallery?

There've been a few times in the comics that politicians have used anti-Batman sentiment to advance their own careers. So that doesn't seem like too much of a stretch.

Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

And as for Killer Croc, the way he was presented in the Joker graphic novel might work.

Its territory already tred in Batman Returns, but the Penguin has "turned respectable" at various times in his career and has tried to run for office as well.

Hell I even remember an episode of the Adam West series where both Penguin and Batman ran for Mayor.

But then, like I said with the Riddler, a going legit story works if you already establish him as a criminal, not really before.
