TTYT

Finally got to Dragon Wars. Started watching it a 1:00 AM, and nearly woke my household up laughing.

THE QUEEN!!!

tried to watch EMPIRE STRIKES BACK but it didn't seem to stay synched-----I hate Lucas for re-editing this every ten days.

QUESTION: exactly WHICH version of Empire Strikes Back is the RT supposed to be of?

They say the "Special Edition", then say that if you own it on DVD it should work. I bought this set and they have synced up for the first 2.

From the product page, which is traditionally the place where this type of question is answered:

"This RiffTrax uses the Special Edition version of the film. If you have it on DVD, you have the right version."

The only reason it should not stay synched is if you accidentally downloaded a copy of the PAL riff or used a downloaded movie.

There should not be any synching issues with our riffs.  If there were, you would A) see dozens and dozens of posts about it and B) we would not still be around after 3.5 years.

The 2004 cut of the film. It should be one disc 1 of the Limited edition set with the original and special edition version, or on the only disc in the Silver lettering set.

that's the one I tried. hm. maybe it was just my computer wigging out in a weird way. now that I've seen JEDI I'll have to try it again.

Yeah, it's the version on the 2004 DVD box set, the one with the silver Vader helmet on the packaging.

Anyways, got to Drag Me To Hel last night. What a way to make a truly awesome movie even better. Fav. riff: "Alright, it's not just me, is it? I mean, this movie has gotten 700 times more insane in the last minute?"

Darth Geek

Star Wars Episode 3 Rifftrax. Still love this Rifftrax, although the movie is attur idiocy. I see that it is the "best" of the prequels, but that still doesn't make it a good movie by a LONG stretch.

"'Kay, who wants a piece of the puppet? Huh? Huh?"

Watching it this time after Avatar, the planet with the big glowing plants where the hot blue Jedi chick gets killed, looks a lot like Pandora.

Titanic

Funny trax.  I didn't think it was as fantastic as many others seemed to, but I imagine it's partially because I watched the entire three hour enchilada in one sitting.   I find I usually like the really really long trax better when I break them up into two nights.  My out-of-town friend was only here one night however.  His first trax and he loved it.

THE QUEEN!!!

SPIDERMAN 2

wanted to see this for a long time and it was worth the wait. HILARIOUS jokes about the bad FX and how bad the actors are. though we wanted more jokes about how bad the side actors are. There were a lot of "I'm in SAG and this is my big chance to be somebody!" moments. great riff, even without Mike. But all I care about are Bill and Kevin. Sorry Mike, I love you too.

Doctor Who?

Organ music;The motion picture.

10/10 for the riffs 1/10 for the movie.

Dim of the Yard

The Room

I asked my significant other if he would indulge me in watching a RiffTrax with me, and, bless him, he said yes.  It turns out that he had seen The Room a few years ago on IFC, when he was vaguely drunk with his roommates and laughing their way through an awful movie.  The RiffTrax, he said, was sublime.  It was the seventh or eighth time I've seen it, so I had to agree.  He was just surprised that the movie didn't take place in "O-hai-o."

I have to say, though, I can't think of a better way to kick off any Valentine's Day than with a viewing of The Room.

Carnival of Souls - It doesn't help that I've been watching the best Twilight Zones lately, so by comparison, I'm not sure this was a movie.  I'm still unclear about what happened.  It's like it wanted to be a TZ ep but got lost along the way.

It was a TZ episode....called "The Hitchhiker".  It starred Inga Stevens and featured the guy from North by Northwest who played the father in The Space Children.

Only question is who copied who...or was it really possible that two people could have the same idea independently.

Well, there has to be some synching issues during the movies in general or Disembodio could ride off into the sunset for good....   ;)

Just finished Matrix Revolutions - good riff, shitty movie.

ScottotD

Watched the first 20 minutes of 'Revenge of the Sith' seemed more of the same 'we don't like the prequels and will spend the riff reminding you of that instead of making jokes' theme they started with Episode 1, I'll probably watch the rest eventually but I'm in no hurry.

ID4.

Perhaps not as amazing a riff as I was expecting but Bill got off some fantastic lines in this, I like that they seem to get the silly nature of Emmerich and roll with it instead of making it the focus of the riff.

Casino Royale.

I was surprised how hilarious the jokes were. Casino Royale has such a pretentious aura to it and the sauveness lends itself to hilarious sarcastic riffing
