I'd love to see someone with a name like Mr. Darksoul...coldnight...shadow or something actually turn out to be a pretty nice person.  The most recent example I can think of is Lord Blackwood, of Sherlock Holmes.  Did he have to be evil because of his name, or did he legally change it?
I like artificial grape flavor, but I hate real grapes.  A paradox!?

Doctor Who?

I would like to see more fairy stories about the police.

I'm going out on a limb and assume that the name was an intentional nod to somebody who actually existed.

Okay, bad example, but I stand by the idea behind my sentiment.

Actually, seriously for another Nolan move, Talia.  :)

Is there a thread devoted just to casting Nolan's next Batmovie for him? Because I could write a disertation.

If it's all about Batman, how about someone other than Nolan making one?  With someone other than Bale in it?  In fact, I still think Adam West is the man for the job!  Followed by Burt Ward (although he's probably too busy).

2010 if I had my way, would be the year Burt Ward emerged, like a phoenix to cleanse Hollywood.

Not so much in, but before the movie: The return of cartoon shorts.  Only Pixar's done it right in the last few years, but I think they need to bring back Looney Tunes.  One could argue that it would be impossible to recapture it but Pixar's done it (see "Presto").  That said, it needs to be classic 2d animation and it needs to make sure that it has a timeless quality (sure the original had references to popular culture, but if you didn't know them, most of the stuff still worked.  Though I'm less of a fan of the Disney shorts, they should do the same.

Yeah I could be down with that, except if they did that, how would I learn about shows on TLC that I'll never watch?

Doctor Who?

I have thought for years that if I were in charge of Warners or Disney I would bring back the shorts.

On that topic - There's a wonderful (though surprisingly dark, especially by Disney Standards) 2D animated short, The Little Match Girl as a bonus on The Little Mermaid DVD: http://www.disneyshorts.org/years/2006/littlematchgirl.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Little_Matchgirl_(film)

Back on this thread's topic, one thing I'd also like to see: Quentin Tarantino hire a composer to write an original score for his movies. He's got great taste in music, yes - but just imagine what a composer could do for his movies (In Tarantino's defense, he did apparently almost have Ennio Morricone onboard Inglorious Basterds, but Morricone passed because the rush to get the movie out at Cannes gave him too little time.)
