Another series that I am waiting for is the two seasons of "The Bullwinkle Show" [the show that followed the 3 seasons of "Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends" which are available].  For some reason they've not been released.

And another thing that has not been released that bugs me not having it [love that sentence structure!  :D ] is anything beyond the pitiful selection of 'Beany and Cecil' cartoons that were on the 'special disc'.  There were a lot of cartoons and only a tiny, tiny few made it to the single DVD that has been released.  [I know Kevin would join me in wanting and partaking of these: he's made a few riffs off of that series.]
... and sunnuva' bitch!  I just looked on Amazon [to see how long ago the first was released] and there's another 'whole' DVD due out next month after nine freaking years of waiting!  But it's 11 more B&C cartoons!  YEAH!!

And the 1960s 'Fantastic Four' where the cartoons used Kirby's original comic art as the starting point for the animation.
You are 1,000 years old, aren't you?
I believe that was the joke Mike said after Kevin made a B&C joke in Island of Dr. Moreau.

I'd like to see the last of Animaniacs make it to DVD, so I can get a 4 pack and save a little.
Also, more King of the Hill please.

I want to know why it takes so long for The Muppet Show season sets to come out?! Two YEARS between seasons? WTF?! And I have to wait until after season 5 before they will even think about releasing Mupets Tonight?!

Indeed it was!   ;D

Kevin is 1000 years old.
He fondly remembers Beany & Cecil.
I fondly remember Beany & Cecil.
And yes, therefore, by the transitive property, I am 1000 years old as well.  ;D

Yeah, I'm wondering why Classic Media stopped releasing new Rocky and Bullwinkle DVDs as well. Did they stop because of low sales?

Just double-checked Wikipedia to see if I remembered my history (I did fairly well, but not perfectly), the series was originally "Rocky and Friends" and ran 3 years.  It changed stations (ABC to NBC) and was retitled "The Bullwinkle Show".  I'd hoped that when the 'R&F' seasons ran out they'd just continue with the 'BS' ones  ::) , but possibly Classic Media doesn't have the rights to release the last two seasons.

But of course, those here who believe a pun should be met with violence (as in the RiffTrax) should NEVER watch this series!   :P

Thrifty

How about Canadian children's show "You Can't Do That on Television"?  I've got every episode, but they're really grainy low quality video files.

Or Salute Your Shorts.

Or several more seasons of Malcolm in the Middle.

I was under the impression that Classic Media had the rights to those episodes since some segments, like the Dudley Do-Right cartoons, are actually from later seasons. They also hinted that there was enough material for five box sets. It's possible that they are having trouble with music rights. I remember they had to include different music than what was used in syndication because of rights issues.

How about some region 1 releases of anything involving Dom Joly. Trigger Happy TV, World Shut Your Mouth, ANYTHING!

It's enough to wither one's optimism.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

Do they have Iron Chef on DVD? Cause that would be cool.

Tripe

Maybe just a compilation of the chairman eating odd foodstuffs, it'd be just the thing to play in the background of really annoying dinner parties.

Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck

Besides, don't they rerun them on The Food Network enough?
