Movies that nobody likes

This is in my opinion a tough topic. I mean even the most heinous movies of all time have some fans. I do firmly believe though that there is nobody, nobody on Earth that likes the movie "North" Starring Elijah Wood, Bruce Willis, Julia-Louis Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, Dan Akroyd, Reba Mcentire, Alan Arkin, Jon Lovitz, Ben Stein, Kathy Bates, Richard Belzar, Abe Vigoda, John Ritter, and (a very young)Scarlet Johanssen. I know it was unnecessary to list almost the entire cast, but I think this goes to show that just because your movie has a bajillion stars doesn't make it good.

When I was young I remember "not hating it". Obviously I didn't know any better at the time... but its kinda tough using a kid movie in this category. You could lump 90% of all non-animated disney kid movies in this category. There is a demographic for every movie... no matter how bad it is. Someone will buy it somewhere.

Roger Ebert certainly gave North a rather scathing review.

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever is notable for getting not a single positive review or comment on Rotten Tomatoes.

Given the fact that apparently some people even like Howard the Duck, I'd be inclined to agree with you.

My uncle (a man of some good movie taste, and a lot of really bad movie taste), likes Catwoman. Seriously, he said that. People, there are only two good things about Catwoman, and they are both covered in leather on the cover, and if you want to see them, watch Swordfish. This is the same guy who really liked the werewolf design in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Bleh, that spindly looking thing?

Doctor Who?

I don't think I heard anyone say anything good about that Thomas the tank engine movie that came out a while ago.

I was about to mention Ecks Vs Sever but I didn't want to be a conversation hog.

Richie Rich with MacCauley Culkin
Master of Disquise with Dana Carvey

Master of Disguise is interesting.  I saw the trailers, and I thought it looked pretty bad.  I saw about 20 minutes of it at K-Mart, and it turned out to be even worse somehow.

Damn, hard to top those.

Hard to come up wtih movies as you could list "Ishtar" and there would still be people who thought it was good.    No fair listing any of the movies MST3K did either as that is too obvious.

The Postman with Kevin Costner
Gigli with Ben Affleck
Freddy Got Fingered with Tom Green

i enjoyed freddy got fingered at the time.

I liked this one as kid, and I still have fond memories of watching it though I haven't seen it in many years.

I think we can find someone who likes any movie we suggest. In fact, I bet if we go to IMDB we can find a positive review for the ones suggested thus far. I was very surprised to find that people on IMDB not only like "Surviving Christmas " (a movie I consider to be one of the worst ever), but actively defend its merits.

There are none.  Every movie has some people who like it.  I went to see Date Movie in the theaters.  Not only was the theater packed, it was full of racous laughter.

And I don't see anything wrong with Surviving Christmas.  I thought it was charming.
