Just saw it last night.  It was great.  I'm usually not a fan of scary movies because they usually don't scare me and just come across as silly.  This was certainly different.  I was very tense throughout (I had a horrible tension headache by the end).  Every time it showed them laying in bed, I just wanted the movie to end.  The best part were the looks on my wife's face.  The whole movie, she looked like she just ate something sour.  I know, this makes it sound bad, but those are all good things for a scary show.

I loved Blair Witch when I saw it, but for me, it only worked the first time.  I'm sure that this movie will be the same way, but I'm glad that I got that same feeling back with this one.

So i went and saw this last night, sadly didnt get to see the beginning because we had trouble trying to find the theater, but overall i thought it was pretty good. It made me jump and i had some nice scares here or there, but just because i work in a haunted house and have been scaring people for the past little while it was hard to get into the mood of being scared myself.  I'm sure if i saw this in a different state of mind i would have been terrified.

A great show for those of you that can find it :) possibly will see it again in a little while when im in a better state of mind.

I wan to see this but I'm a bit worried.  Not because of the scare factor but if its all "shaky cam" I will hurl.  At Blair Witch I got a migraine and was in bed for two days.  The same thing happened after Natural Born Killers.

Where did you see it?  Which haunted house do you work at?

Yes, that sounded odd.  Brak and I live in the same town, there's only two theaters showing this movie, and we both went and saw it last night, so I'm wondering if we were at the same showing.

The shaky cam in this isn't too bad. Most of the time the camera is pretty stationary, and when it does move it's fairly clear. No crazy shaking where you can't tell what's going on.

Someone told me that the worst part of it is the anticipation.....that and facial expressions.
Dammit, Maverick! Why don't you play by the rules?!

"Joel, what's a Harringway?"
"About a pound."

Facial expressions are the worst...are they scared?  Do they have gas?  Why are they looking at me?  Can they see me?  Am I on screen and they in the audience?  Where's my meds?  What does the color blue feel like?

You see, facial expressions...they really are frightening.

I thought this seemed like just another lame throwaway movie at first, but now because of all the positive buzz I'm curious. I just don't want to go see a fake version of Ghost Hunters where people lie in a bed and something moves. The way people are talking about how scary it is has gotten me hopeful it might be better than that.

I get scared easily in real life, but not so much by movies. Maybe, just maybe this one will scare me.
I know you are but what am I

Tyrant

Okay, I've gotta see this movie. I love being scared. I think it's healthy.

I was at the Gateway.  I think we're going to the Haunted Mansion this year.  How's the Haunted Forest?

Let me know how the haunted mansion is.  The Haunted Forest is pretty good. I mean if i went through id be scared here or there but not totally.  What they keep telling us is that we are rated the scariest place in Utah right now (which to be honest is kind of sad, if i can find an investor i for sure would want to build my own, i could make one that would be even greater).

I have a lot of fun scaring people, usually one person a night will pee their pants which is awesome, but im sad im not always there to see it.

I didn't crap my pants at the ending, but I thought about it.  What a great setup and ending.
