Let me know how the haunted mansion is.

I went to it last night.  I was wrong about the name, it's actually the Nightmare Mansion.  It was supposed to be the best in the state, but in my opinion it was pretty lame.  It's inside an old Petsmart, and there wasn't much more to it than people jumping out or getting in your face so you have to smell their breath.  They had a 3-D maze which was kind of cool, but as you're trying to look at all the cool 3-D art on the wall, people kept jumping out and it just got annoying.

I went to Castle of Chaos last year, and that was quite a bit cooler.  They had more interactive things.  There was a part where they made us crawl on the ground, and there was a narrow hallway with inflatable walls that you had to force your way through.  They had this big freaky jack-in-the-box that we had to open.  They even made us get into some coffins, that would drop you out the bottom.  Castle of Chaos was far from perfect, but it was much better than Nightmare Mansion.

I wish I had gone to the March of Dimes haunted house when it was still open.  I heard that they did really great recreations of all the classic movie monsters like Dracula and Frankenstein.  In my opinion, they should either recreate classic stuff like that, or be much more creative and interactive without relying on just jumping out at you.  I think someone should make a Hitchcock haunted house.  Just think of all the cool things you could do with that!

My brother went to it last night and told me that while it was very well made, it wasn't the scariest thing he had ever seen. That gave me hope, but I'm going to wait until I can rent it so I can freak out in my own home.
Dammit, Maverick! Why don't you play by the rules?!

"Joel, what's a Harringway?"
"About a pound."
