Hmmm. Wikipedia says the release date in June 16, 2009. Wonder where they got that?  ???

Not sure... but I know the 3 riffer releases of the classics will be sooner than that.

From the Facebook announcement that says they will be released to retail on June 16th?

Yes, I did see that, but was thinking more of the website release date. It does make sense, though. Just like the Overstreet Price Guide - the comic shops get them 2-3 weeks before the retail stores do.

Well! Ask and ye shall recieve! It's cool that they just released 5 new dvds - but where is Shorts Vol 2?  :P I'd really rather buy them all together.

It's coming a little later. Not exactly sure when but it'll be here soon enough. :)

I just saw them at my local Best Buy too. It is nice to see that it is being released under the RiffTrax brand too. Although Legend might want to double check with the Best Buy buyers because the price tag on the ones I saw called them "Rifftrack". So they are probably listed in their database that way too.

Just got the newer disks sans Shorts 2. Over all I love these. I got the VOD versions, but I like supporting the guys and having something to show someone to get them into the site. That said, one slight complaint. How come no new song for Plan 9? It was just the Rufus Adams song that was from Song-fu and was already on the shorts 1 menu. If any of the movies seemed to have the right ingredients for a goofy song it seems like it would be the one starring Dudley Manlove. Also as my few other posts have pointed out, sort of would like a little more presence from Disembaudio. I love that video toaster. :D

I need to do more Dis fan art once I get caught up on work.

Sorry, anyway, love the dvds, just felt slightly hosed out of a new song only because the Rifftones were a selling point.

Oddly, there's a Plan 9 related song on the new Rifftones CD....  which, by the way, am I the only one who noticed that?!?!  There isn't even a forum thread yet for it.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.
