no no no - I like brunettes =)

But seriously - most were in kick ass movies (Sin City thru Pirates) and some made sucky movies a lot easier to watch (xXx for example).

And really, I don't consider msot of em to be skinny/gangly. Now, Niccole Richie - that's gangly

I Soooo despise the hell out of ben affleck, kudos on the movie choice!  ;D

This is one of those movies I actively avoided with the hopes that Mike and co would get ahold of it eventually... man am I glad I waited :)

I've only see it once and like I said previously... I don't remember it being particularly godawful or anything. Either way, I have reserved my copy from my buddy who has a DVD purchasing addiction that he has yet to come to terms with. While it's not one of my favorites, I did enjoy their treatment of X-Men and having all three Sci-Fi era riffers involved should be a treat all by itself.

Pak-Man

What if I'm too lazy to get up and buy or rent the movie?

HAVE NO FEAR!!

I know it's what you guys have been using all along, but NOW it's actually a pretty good unwitting pun. :^)

A NEW RIFFTRAX! YES!
A NEW RIFFTRAX FEATURING MIKE, BILL AND KEVIN! THAT'S THE DREAM
A NEW RIFFTRAX  FEATURING MIKE, BILL AND KEVIN ON THE MOVIE DAREDEVIL! A MOVIE THAT I OWN ON DVD, HUZZAH!
A NEW RIFFTRAX FEATURING MIKE, BILL AND KEVIN ON THE MOVIE DAREDEVIL IN IT'S...Theatrical...cut....

Once again going for the better version of a movie leaves me screwed in regards to my rifftrax enjoyment.  :(

Sure hope I can still rent the other version.

Really think there was a missed opportunity here though. If you were to to take a look at the Director's cut, specifically the extra feature about the making of the Director's cut, the Producer who talks about why he decided to go with the theatrical cut in cinemas is just begging to be riffed.

Not the movie, just that guy.

Quote"What's more valuable? A quick-paced, fast-moving movie or a fuller content that might have some slower moments?"

Quote"My personal feeling is I was advocating speed over well-shot, well-acted, well-directed, well-performed scenes but that were gonna, overall, slow down the movement of the film. I don't think in the commercial marketplace that, you know, the intellectual content necessarily is as important as the quick, exciting experience of this kind of a movie.

What, did Vin drop out when he realised he would have to grow hair for the role?

No, I believe even Vin, the lunkhead's lunkhead, had too much dignity for the red leather

When I learned that the Daredevil director's cut added 30 minutes to the running time and added more than a half hour of new material, it became clear that something had gone very wrong with the production.
Daredevil was completely destroyed in the creation of the theatrical cut.  They cut it for length, they cut it for content to get the PG-13 rating, they cut integral plot scenes out to put more scenes with Garner in.  The studio made it their priority to gut this thing and turn it into a promo for the upcoming spinoff Elektra--the film they were sure they could turn into a bigger hit.  The theatrical cut is tedious and completely nonsensical; the director's cut is one of the best superhero adaptations to date (if you can ignore some unfortunate CGI and soundtrack issues.)
Few films are as crippled as Daredevil was before release.  Within the genre, it's second only to the Superman II debacle in this respect.  The two versions really are completely different films.
I've championed the DC of Daredevil to friends who are fans of action (and especially superhero films.)  It is very difficult to persuade people to see this movie, and director Mark Steven Johnson is unfairly regarded as something of a joke despite the fact that he obviously cares more about adapting this kind of material than most anyone in Hollywood.
My question would be: what is rifftrax doing?  The coy nod to the existence of the DC on the site seems to indicate a willful ignorance of these production issues and the content of the original film.  Mike Nelson and the others featured on this site have built themselves up as voices of authority on film.  If you're not willing to do any research whatsoever before you choose your projects then this stuff stops being any kind of amusing novelty and starts doing actual harm that other people will have to try to undo.

Thats not cool Nunyer.......no need to say that.  :-

A thousand pardons for failing the SaucyRossy cool test, but when somebody melts down over complete strangers poking fun at a damn comic book movie... 'dork' fits perfectly.
