You know, I must be blind or something, because I'm looking at the main page right now and I don't see a thing mentioning a live Rifftrax online.  All I see is a mention of an upcoming short.

I was thinking something like actually mentioning the live riff on the front page of Rifftrax for those who don't browse the forum, and a brand new thread announcing the next live riff in this forum.

I guess it doesn't matter, but don't be shocked if turnout is lower the second time around because of less thorough promotion.
