"Come on, it wasn't that bad."

Relaxing Dragon

Ah, so that's the one. Thanks for clearing that up.

Back to the topic at hand: while the story (and most of the acting) in Ultraviolet made my brain start to hang itself, the fight scenes were amazing stuff, and I really liked the use of color (as they should be, since the Equilibrium guy made it. Too bad he couldn't capture the other good parts of that movie and bring it into Ultraviolet as well). If I were ever to find this DVD for five bucks or less at my local store, I'd definitely consider picking it up.

Kung Pow, Hudson Hawk, Flash Gordon and Death to Smoochy are all films I love to watch repeatedly!  and quote quite often as well.

My pick that a lot of people seem not to like is Clifford, I will admit that I love it.

Clifford was brilliant.

Couple I'm gonna add: Conan the Barbarian (everyone who dismisses it either hasn't seen it or just hasn't given it a chance--great movie)
Wait is Conan supposed to be bad? It has the most perfect example of a prayer ever commited to film (which I can't find a clip of, bugger)

Excalibur (lots of people bitch about "70s hair"--whatever, it's still by far the best filmed adaptation of Arthuriana out there).
Indeed it is, I actually took the title of my Bachelors Dissertation from that film.

Oh, and Dragonslayer.
Ok, you're on your own there.  :P

Oh and the sad passing of Jerry Reed brings to mind a couple (but definitly not a trio) of movies I dig

The first two Smokey and the Bandit movies are still pretty entertaining, sorry.

Oh and those two Which Way movies with Clint and the Orangutan too.

I'm pretty much disposed to liking all chick flicks... It's a terrible weakness, but I really do love Notting Hill.

ScottotD

I like Hugh Grant in pretty much anything.

I'm also fairly sure 70% or so of my favourite movies would fall into this catagory for a lot of people.

Darth Geek

While I do loath chick flicks, I enjoy Love Potion No. 9.

See that's where Grant is playing his most likable persona, an utter bastard :)

Actually the only bit that stick in the memory is one of the moments of nudity. :)

And it looks pretty good too, filmed completely in natural light ala Barry Lyndon.

a pretty girl is like

Bad Boys II.

I laughed, I cried, shit got real.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

Piobman

Okay.... how about Cabin Boy! I found it oddly entertaining in a "what am I watching?" sort of way.

Pak-Man

I like all THREE Ninja Turtles live action movies. I also enjoy the Hulk Hogan comedy, Suburban Commando. Gremlins 2 was awesome. It was a beautifully self aware movie. Ghost Rider was a lot of fun as well. There's a feeling in all the above movies like the director was thinking, "OK. This isn't going according to plan, I don't have the budget I need, and the movie's caving in all around me. Let's just make a silly movie!" I love those movies that decide, "Well if it's not going to be good, at least it's going to be fun!"

I would also like to posit that just because the prequels weren't as good as the OT, it does not make them bad. I'll take a Lucas Prequel over 90 percent of the movies put out every month. Yes, even Episode 1. :^)

Dante's commentry for Gremlins 2 opens with "welcome to the most pointless sequel ever made!"

I don't have any ''guilty pleasure movies" or any "guilty pleasures" at all, I like the things I like.

I find the movie RocketMan pretty entertaining. There, that's my guilty pleasure.

EDIT: ...and Baby's Day Out.
