Why thank you, bettertomorrowamy!  :)

I honestly did not expect that to be there.  Interesting.

Mike -

On MST3K we hear several times about your 'charger'. Did you really have one? What year?

hey mike, i was just wondering since you have a family and all, when/if you guys go out to see a normal movie in theaters (i imagine at some point that your kids wanted to see some of these corny movies that you have riffed on), do you hold back the need to crack on what's on screen or do you sit there and chuckle and think "boy, this would be great riffing material"

thanks

In the commentary to "Carnival of Souls," Mike says he can't quite remember what part Frances Feist played in the Centron short about Speech.

I could be wrong, but I think she was the lady making a presentation to her women's group about flower arranging.

I asked this in the MST-3K area, and was suggested to post it here.

Mike, is there any way you can contact Universal/Rogue Pictures to do a "Special Edition" MST3K: The Movie for DVD? Do it kinda how Kevin Smith does his DVDs, load them with special features like: deleted scenes, featurettes on the movie, subtitles, chapter menu, any video you want to put on it, interviews with cast and crew, a new rifftrax to "This Island Earth" (more like updating it for the times now, or just add more riffs to the original track). I dunno, the sky's the limit.

Please let us know.
Yay!

I'm pretty sure if it was that easy to do it would have already been done.  Mike doesn't own the rights to MST3k.

Just thought I'd ask :)

Funny how things just don't work out.

Mike,  with all of the bad movies that you've riffed over the years with the help of Joel, Frank, Mary Joe, Patrick, Kevin, Trace...and everyone else who you shared the writing desk/room with...does your riffing carry over into the good movies that you watch outside of work?

With the writer's strike in the past and an impending actor's strike, I can almost hear my internal Tom Servo making a few wisecracks...what are your opinions on this? (Not the internal Servo...which would be highly disturbing...but the strike)

Dear Mike
If you could chose your own death what would you chose excluding old age.

Hi there-

Have you ever seen a ufo?
Also, consider John & John of They Might Be Giants as guest riffers. Nerd gold. Nerdvanah.

Are there any movies you would not riff? I'd assume something like "Schindler's list" would be off limits, for example.

Dear Mike, and whoever else may be joining him for this edition of "Ask Mike",

What is your opinion on playing to the hardcore fan base by sneaking references into a movie? For example, the third X-Men movie cited the famous Internet fandub "Juggernaut, Bitch" (or whatever it's called) by having the Juggernaut actually say the line in the film. Is it tasteless? Or do you think it is high time that directors of films based on well-developed (and loved) franchises acknowledged the inside jokes that fans have with one another?

Thanks for taking the time to answer this!

Yours truly,
Jenn (a.k.a. A_Schooling_Teacher)
Yes, I named my car after Tom Servo. And if that's wrong, I don't ever want to be right.

If it's not too late:

Dear Mike,

Would you be willing to go on Dancing With The Stars?
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.
