Ooh. I had never thought of a Pokémon movie. That'd be great. Poke fun at some childish anime. That'd definitely be a highlight.

OK.... I'm changing items 1-10 on my list to

ZARDOZ!

the worst / best / worst again movie EVER.

Sean Connery in the worst costume ever....

TABERNAAACLE!

Everything else has to come after that.... even Robot Jox..... as much as it hurts to say.... hehehe
This is like, the big Cake-Taker of all riff-ripe movies... there's more riff potential in the first 10 minutes of this movie than in a lot of other movies put together.

I mean, it starts with a guy wearing boxers on his head and a drawn-on set of facial hair..... COME ON

d-fens

1. Total Recall
2. Any of the three Rambo movies
3. Commando
4. Rocky IV
5. Kindergarten Cop
6. Cliffhanger
7. Air Force One
8. Last Action Hero
9. Superman III or Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
10. Jaws 3

Basically, any movie by Arnie or Stallone would be perfect for a Riff. Hands down.

2nd'd.

And I'm guessing that you wouldn't want "Falling Down" to get riffed, huh d-fens?

After sitting and reviewing the previous posts with hubby, we tried to come up with our Top 10 List...  Here's our list, in no particular order:

1.  The Wild Bunch (those slow-motion deaths give plenty riff material)
2.  Original Trilogy of Star Wars (IV-VI) (they just HAVE to be done!)
3.  Remainder of the Harry Potter series ('cause you know they're gonna be great!)
4.  The Avengers (the Uma Thurman trainwreck of a movie)
5.  The Italian Job (don't care which version -- they're extremely riffable)
6.  Escape from New York (see St. Louis after dark!) or Escape from L.A. (not as desirable but still worth it)
7.  Gettysburg (a little history with your laughter and fake beards all around!)
8.  The Great Escape (a favorite of ours and you'd HAVE to get Eddie Izzard to be the guest riffer)
9.  Zulu (Michael Caine's first movie!)
10.  Crimson Tide (a true toad of a movie)

There are some movies we'd suggest but we know we'd be shot for even mentioning them (Schindler's List, Casablanca, Bullitt, any Clint Eastwood "spaghetti western," Rain Man, Regarding Henry, Raisin in the Sun, and others).  You could exchange Crimson Tide for any submarine-based craptastic movie (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (Disney!); K-19; U-571; Run Silent, Run Deep, etc.).  Foreign language films would be fun (i.e. Life is Beautiful) but it's hard to riff over subtitles.  Then there are some that deserve it 'cause they're....well....awful:  "The Frisco Kid" (the rabbi goes west -- worse than "Gunlinger); "Little Shop of Horrors" (Roger Corman's version, or the musical, doesn't matter); "It's Pat" (this crap writes itself!); "Howard the Duck" (I liked it, hubby hated it...and so did the rest of the world); and "Staying Alive" (Travolta directed by Stallone??  How can you miss??)

Anyway, those are our suggestions....  We know there are plenty more turds out there, but we'll stop for now.  ;D

"Little Shop of Horrors" (Roger Corman's version, or the musical, doesn't matter)

Mike did a collaboration with Legend on the Corman version. Check it out, its absolutely hilarious.

Clint Eastwood "spaghetti western," - I'd love to see a western get riffed. Hopefully Rifftrax will eventually branch out into more generas.

Space Cowboys might be a good Eastwood movie to Riff. Either that or one of the Dirty Harry films.

1. Dungeons and Dragons- Thora Birch's WORST PERFORMANCE EVER! And as if that wasn't fertile enough ground for ripe lampooning, you also get Marlon Waynes, Jeremy Irons, and Justin Whalin giving a performance that will make you hate Dungeons and Dragons for the rest of your life.

2. Willow- I love this movie, but is is just way to easy to have a riot lampooning. You guys have to do it!

3. Elektra- the people who wrote this movie should be beaten to death with a sack of oranges for turning one of the best femme fatales comics have ever produced into an inane character not even Jennifer Garner in skin tight clothes could make appealing.

4. Any James Bond movie- the possibilities are too ridiculous to enumerate.

5. Punisher- not the Thomas Jane Punisher (which was only half-bad, though Travolta's hair alone could fill a warehouse with possible jokes), but the old-school Dolph Lundgren Punisher. Oh Yeah!

6. Who Framed Roger Rabbit- the only danger with lampooning this film is that it might be way too easy for the crew.

7. Airheads- as bad as any Brandon Frasier movie is, this one has got to be the worst ever. And yet it launched his career. Baffling...

8. Waterworld- you have seen this right? I don't really need to say anything else do I?

9. Apocalypse Now- this one would be a real, honest challenge. But if you could pull it off, it could be a masterpiece of comedic genius.

10. Casino- you'd have to charge like 4.99 to get your monies worth out of the customers ('cause the movie is like three hours and change), but it would be so worth it. Soooooo worth it!

Hey, Dolph has apparently been DIRECTING some movies the last few years. Those would be very excellent targets. That also reminds me that Masters of the Universe would make an excellent target.

1. Showgirls
2. Hard Target
3. Punch Drunk Love
4.Short Circuit
5.Waterworld
6.Falling Down
7. Any Macgyver episode
8. Hook
9. The Never Ending Story
10. Face Off

Clue (in the worst way!!) xs 10!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE that movie!!  Went to see it in the theaters to try and see each of the different endings....ended up getting it on VHS so I could see all three.  I just bought a DVD copy of it too (it was in the junk bin and $5 is a steal!).
