I bought them all when they came out ... and I have the box set too :)

I told you it was one of my favorite movies.  I actually don't think I have even opened the DVDs though.

I suppose you don't want to tarnish your memories of the sequels by actually watching them again?

Probably so :)

Of course, now that they are making JP4, they just made your "complete set" moot.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Agree. I'm waiting for this one (have been hearing about it for years). I'm guessing that it will "eventually" happen but need more proof than what I've seen over the years.

I bought this when it came out a couple years ago:

all three movies for less than $20, it's pretty good deal, and if they end up riffing one of the sequels you'll already have it.  Personally, I like all three movies, they're fun and well made.  I remember seeing JP2 in a packed theater opening night, and it was a blast.

Yeah I agree, most people will (or should) end up buying that trilogy set. It's cheap, widely available, and comes in a nice package

I bought the trilogy set, but Jurassic Park 1 is the only one I can see myself consistantly watching. I really hope the RiffTrax guys riff the rest of the series, if nothing else, to justify my purchase.

Jurassic Park 2 needs to be riffed if only for the stupidest scene in all three movies where the girl finds a Gymnastics pole in a barn and uses it to kick the velociraptor. High movie filmmaking there.

I agree that that was the stupidest scene of the trilogy, but the rest of the second movie was decent at best. The third is just an abysmal movie as a whole.

So did Al help out writing or did Mike write it all? Also do ya have a picture of Mike and Al riffing?

I would guess he would have had a hand in it, unless it was a time issue, since Al is a writer. NPH is not necessarily a writer, so I can understand why he would leave it all up to Mike.

QuoteAlso do ya have a picture of Mike and Al riffing?

Yes, please! Two comic geniuses together!

I'm still guessing guest riffer + writing = $4.99 riff. Also, if Al had written it, that would be a stupid selling point to omit. See, if Al personally licked every MP3, you'd want to mention that, and put it up front. It's called a specialty bread.

I'd think that Al would have written it. He's done riffing in the past and he's wonderfully hilarious on his own. It'd be kind of an insult for the greatest comic mind in the modern world to come into something like this with a script not written by himself.

On the other hand, from the sample, the riffs do have the "Mike Nelson" kind of voice to them...

WHen is the next 20 questions going to be, by the way?

He could have contributed and Mike could have refined the script.

Speaking of, where is it? I was hoping to watch it early, darn it.  :)

I own the DVD (a version that came out before JP3 and the neat looking set posted earlier) All my DVD authoring files are ready to rock. Audacity is open and waiting for the mp3 file  :D

Ditto here, Baby. I also have the Act your AGE short ready. I am going to see if I can fit it at the beginning of my reauthored DVD to have it before the feature just like the old days.

I have all the files ready too, but I'm stuck at work for 5 more hours. Dang.
