Yeah if you paid for it and it was scratched I guess you could download it. I've yet to find something so scratched it wouldn't play though. What are people scratching their DVDs with?
From Netflix? You'll be Lucky to get one Not scratched or scuffed, but they still played.
This one you can see the Gouge marks pretty good along with a few chips on the edge of the disc.

If I have a problem with a Netflix DVD it is cracked or snapped in two. It happenned with Crossroads and I had to get a replacement sent to me. It was embarassing enough having my wife open the Netflix envelope and see Crossroads once.

What? What is your avatar?

Actually, Bathtub completely ruined it for me because I saw his avatar when I started reading the thread. Yeah, so I didn't get up at 11am. I didn't know the riffer but guessed it pretty quick when I read the questions. Thanks, BathJERK.

Right except on the day I didn't post till after the game where I posted my fanart.

Just caught up here and saw the sample clip.  And so, a month and a half after The Star Wars Holiday Special became the most awesomest Rifftrax ever, it's now looking nervously over its shoulder at Jurassic Park.

Incredible sample.  Beats out Casino Royale, my previous benchmark.  Weird Al fits in perfectly -- almost too perfectly:  he can sound enough like Mike sometimes to be a bit confusing.  Hmmm, I wonder if that's part of his master plan ...

I am so ready for this.  Forget Tuesday, I want to watch it tonight, Sunday.  I mean, what's on TV that I would miss?

And in case I hadn't explicitly or implicitly said it before, thank you, guys.  Thank you.

I paid $10 from Amazon for a new copy.    I was hoping to pick up a used one (with shipping) for $5, but the best deal I could find (from someone legit) was like $8 used.

Damn, my "Amazon Suggests" line up is horrifying, thanks Rifftrax.

I'll go get the White Glove!

Yes, I registered just because of this Rifftrax.  But I was here before Al.  Honest.

Anyway, I'm kinda surprised no one mentioned this conversation is on page 27.  Very Weird Al Yankovic. :)

AmandaGal

It's not odd for 40Qs to be on page 27 :)

Welcome anyway!

I bought this when it came out a couple years ago:

all three movies for less than $20, it's pretty good deal, and if they end up riffing one of the sequels you'll already have it.  Personally, I like all three movies, they're fun and well made.  I remember seeing JP2 in a packed theater opening night, and it was a blast.

Yeah, when I went to the store to get JP, that 3-pack was the ONLY way to get the two sequels. So better safe than sorry if the sequels eventually get riffed.

AmandaGal

I bought them all when they came out ... and I have the box set too :)

I told you it was one of my favorite movies.  I actually don't think I have even opened the DVDs though.

Of course, now that they are making JP4, they just made your "complete set" moot.

I suppose you don't want to tarnish your memories of the sequels by actually watching them again?

I'll believe it when I see it.
