Comic Book Movies You Want Made

I think that the Adam Strange maxi series that came out a few years ago would make a great movie.

Fuzzy Necromancer

I think a Runaways movie would be amazing, provided that they found the right person to play Gert and got Kurt to write dialogue.
Love doesn't hurt. It kills.

"Where there's smoke, there's a smoke-making machine."

Darth Geek

I want to see a Green Lantern movie. I can't believe this hasn't made already, since the CGI for the things he makes from his ring don't have to be completely real looking, since their not.

I thought they were going to do one with Jack Black *shudder* at one point.

I'd like to see an Ambush Bug cartoon series.  That would rock.

And I'd like to see Hellblazer done properly, with an Englishman in the lead.  Jude Law, perhaps.

SHUT UP!

Oh god not the dread Jude Law, little better than the travesty of casting in the actual one.

How about Paul Bettany

And if we on the subject of movie remakes then how about taking a better shot at Tank Girl.

Oh and I'd like to see The Books of Magic but I rather think a certain popular series of books and films based on them has scuppered that.

I always thought Kingdom Come would make an awesome movie. Not as live action per se, but if they could somehow take Alex Ross' art and digitally animate it or something.

Okay, if eveybody chips in some knowhow and 100,000 dollars, we can make this happen. I'll get a sample of Alex Ross's blood, you steal some lab equipment, you get some art supplies. Within a few months, we should have a sweatshop full of Alex Rosses to animate the movie. Then, we'll have the army of Rosses kidnap some good voice actors, and viola!

Do I get to keep one of the Alex Rosses? I'll pitch in $$ if I do.

Cibernético II

You know, for a second there I thought Junkyard said he was going to clone a sweatshop full of Axl Roses. I thought, what good would that do?

I too would like to see a Deadpool movie. That would be really cool to me. I don't know who could play the lead though, maybe Josh Lucas.

I would love to see cool Lobo movie. But I think it would have to be animated or CG animated. I'd be afraid they wouldn't get the feel of it right with a live action movie. Lobo is an over the top, superviolent, almost satirical anti-hero. They wouldn't get the humor right. It would be just like Judge Dredd all over again. He came off kinda lame in the Superman series, he should be done justice.
I really do like pie.

I ahem... would ... like to see a movie about Power Girl.  ;)
Is Chesty Morgan still around?
Well there's always Pamela Anderson, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Selma Hayek, Hootie McBoob. Frankly, I'd much rather see America Ferrera in the role... I love full figured women.  ;)

Dim of the Yard

You know what?  I want to see a CGI movie of anything that Rob Leifeld has drawn, just so I can see how the character models transfer from the paper to the big screen.  Also, can you imagine 2 hours of women with broken spines and huge tracts of land?  Of guys with arms and legs the size of tree trunks, the chest the size of a garage, all balancing on the feet of a young ballerina?  It'll be more muscle than the silver screen has ever seen!  My God, there'd be so much muscle and manliness that baseball players won't be able to watch the movie before a game, or else they'll never pass a steroid screening test!  And just think of exactly how many teeth will be clenched during the course of the entire movie!  That's a lot of teeth!

You forgot to mention how many pouches and belts we'd see, too. And ridiculously sized rifles.

Mystery Men was a rip off of this, IMHO.

In that vein anyone remember the short, Marvel I think, series about the people who clean up after Superhero battles? That might be fun too.

Am I the only one who can't see that picture I posted?
