MIke,

Of all T.G.I Friday's new "outrageous" appetizers, which do you find most delectable?  I personally can't decide between the fried green beens and the fried mac and cheese.  Also has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like Terry Silver from Karate Kid 3?  I have to go change my hair style now.

Mike--

So what does it take to get guests to come and heckle with you for the week or a weekend? Does it take promises of unimaginable wealth and power or the delicious enticements of what's left from yesterday's deli venture?

Mike,

Are there any films you have had difficulty getting for Rifftrax? Either due to legal or Hollywood pressure, personal issues between yourself and filmmakers, etc.?

Thanks.

Ryan

They don't "get" films. They only make commentaries. I guess you could ask about pressure not to MAKE a commentary, but, eh...

1. Name four reasons why the rate of population growth continues to be relatively high throughout much of Middle and South America. (6 points)

2. Name four forces that help perpetuate income disparities in Middle and South America. (6 points)

3. Discuss two major differences in living conditions between Cuba and Puerto Rico. (3 points)

If I could get these answers by Sunday, that'd be great. since that's when they're due. Thanks.

Mike: Have you ever sat down with friends and family to watch Rifftrax with them? If so, which 'trax do you enjoy watching with others the most?

Hey Mike,

I'm curious, what's the creation process of a RiffTrax? Do you (and whatever others involved) sit and watch the movie a few times while recording, then edit together the best bits? Or does a pow-wow writing session like MST3K take place beforehand?

immcdonal

Dear Mike,
What are your thoughts on the 1985 psuedo-classic St. Elmo's Fire? And can we ever expect to see a rifftrax of this, Mr. Schumacher's finest work?

Mike, Kevin, (and Bill, if the opportunity ever arises):

Back during the days of MST3K, there were times when you described anime in, shall we say, less than flattering terms. (Merlin's Shop of Mystical Wonders springs to mind)  Was it just a distaste for anime in general, or was it merely that at the time, that you found most examples of it to be horribly written/produced, so you treated it with as much 'reverence' as you did the horribly written/produced movies that you had to watch.

Has this position changed at all, and if not what is it that you find lacking, that if added, might actually make for an enjoyable viewing experience?

Dear Mike Nelson,

This is really a Film Crew DVD question.  I was watching the MST3K episode with the movie Future War.  I always found that the newer a bad movie is, the funnier the MST3K episode.  It would nice if you, Bill and Kevin chose a newer movie for an upcoming Film Crew DVD.  There must be plenty of direct to video junk from the late '80s to '90s that you could use.  Perhaps something starring Don "the Dragon" Wilson?

Dear Mike,

What would you do if you were confronted by a Toy Robot Messenger of Deathâ„¢ and given three days to comply with its masters' demands, lest you face certain death at the hands of elite ninja assassins?

On a completely unrelated note, could I borrow 50 grand?  I'll pay you back - I promise!

Completely platonic and heterosexual love and manly, unerotic kisses,

Dear Mike,

Are some movies so bad that you feel you could riff on  them more than once and still have fresh, zinger-filled things to say about them?

Thanks

Dear Mike,

I've noticed that you, Kevin, and Bill occasionally make Chicago Cub references. I am curious which of you guys, if any, are fans.

Go Cubbies!

Thanks,

Mr. Nelson, I occasionally hear references to religion and theology in MST3K and Rifftrax. I was curious as to what your religious outlook was. Feel free to be as specific as you like. For instance, I go to a school which is in the Wesley Arminian Methodist Conservative Holiness Movement-- it took me a whole semester to figure what the heck that all meant.

Hey Mike,

i was just asking have considered Riffing foreign-made productions with American casts? I'm not talking about Leon, i'm talking about the cheesy ones like D-War and that infamous Turkish ianti-American "Death to America" film called Valley of the Wolves Iraq. Would you dare riffing those two without getting bitten by Korean nationalists, or worse getting shot by radical Islamists? hey you managed to have balls riffing Battlefield Earth, so why not?
