best buy has the "Bourne Files" 2 pack for 15 bucks now...or both films singly for 7.50 each.

I believe the 2 pack set is not the "extended" edition of the first movie.

I just watched both of these 2 nights ago to get ready to see the third next week.

Sweet! Thanks!

Do the guys riff movies that are exclusively bad, or do they riff films with the most opportunities for jokes?

I only ask because I really like this movie, and I'm just a little surprised it's on the roster.

Q:  What is the criteria for picking the movies for RiffTrax?

A:  Whether or not a funny RiffTrax can be created for the movie.

Q:  But is it bad movies, or movies that you hate, or...

A:  Please see the above answer.

I like the Bourne Identity too, but I think it's also quite riffable.

At least it's not another Star Trek..... ;)

Thanks, Jack - I figured that was the answer.

The Bourne Identity was the first Robert Ludlum book I ever read and I was hooked from that point on... anybody remember the 6-hour made-for-TV mini-series of Bourne starring Richard Chamberlain and Jaclyn Smith?

Still waiting for Hollywood to jump on The Aquitaine Progression...

We riffed the Extended edition, the "collectors edition" is not in print anymore, it appears:

http://www.amazon.com/Bourne-Identity-Widescreen-Extended/dp/B00023B1LC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-1555731-3427261?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1186000174&sr=8-1

Feel Free to tag it with RiffTrax.

It will be released Tuesday, 8/7, and we did take more pics of Bill while he was out here last week.

Is it too early to ask when the next 20Q's will be after that release?

Yep I saw it, a long time ago.

Wow. Are you serius. That's funny. I was out jet skiing yesterday with my sister. I was telling her all the riffed movies the guys have done, and she said, "Jeez, is there a movie they haven't riffed?"

And I swear, I said The Bourne Identity. Completely random, just popped into my head. I could have as easily said Kill Bill or Batman Begins or some other random film, or even the Bourne Supremecy, seeing as it's a more recent film in the Bourne trilogy. Now you can imagine my surprise when I come onto the website today and see that Mike, Kevin, and Bill are riffing The Bourne Identity. That is some freaky ESP shit. Also, this is the very first rifftrax of which I have owned the film beforehand.

Anyway, good on ya guys. I'm still trying to find time to watch 300. I'll probably get to it tomorrow.

Yeah. I saw it. It had a lot more to do with Ludlum's book than Damon's film did, but Richard "Thornbirds" Chamberlain as Bourne? Gimme a break.

At least it was better than Michael Caine's "The Holcroft Covenent." Nothing like Ludlum's book except for a couple of names.

Boy that's the truth... that was terrible. And The Osterman Weekend wasn't much better. But you're right, as cheesy as that mini-series was, it actually followed the book precisely the whole way, which is why it was 6 hours long I guess...

We took photos of Bill while they were here. JP did that poster before that took place.

No!  Delete them from all hard drives and flash media this instant!  I demand that the same, ancient picture of Bill continue to be used throughout RiffTrax's existence.  It makes me laugh and laugh.
