OK guys, lets figure this out for sure. I have the original "collector's edition" version of the DVD that looks like this:

I put my DVD in, and at 29 seconds into the film, there is a lightning crash and the screen turns blue with the opening scene of the film.  The end credits begin at 1:51:27, with "Directed by Doug Liman" appearing on the screen.

Could someone who has the new supposed "extended" cut of the film check their DVD to see if those timecodes match up?The DVD looks like this:

Just to be sure, this is a double elimination contest, right?

Oh wait, I was getting dizzy there.

Another Rifftrax I own already.   The "Explosive Extended Edition"........ although mine did not explode, so I want a refund.   I still have the free ticket to the "Bourne Supremecy" in case anyone wants to time travel.

When you hit play play on the menu of the "Extended Edition" you are taken to a screen the option to play the theatrical release or the explosive extended edition.  I hit "Play theatrical" on the version we riffed, and the timing matches up with yours.

Why are some people acting like they can't go to their local video store and rent this movie?  Unless there are no video rental stores in your area Netflix isn't the only option here.
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

Junkyard

Not the only option for me; just the cheapest.

It may be the cheapest but how much are you really saving?  $1.00?  I'd sure hope that a $4.00 video rental wouldn't break the bank.

True nuff. I got no real qualms about renting this from Video Plus.

Sweet, another movie I already have, and isn't especially painful to watch. (Unless you're unusally sensitive to Franka Potente's nose.)

i already pay $19/month to rent movies with netflix, the whole reason i got it was to stay out of blockbuster, i'll just wait until netflix gets it. Last time i rented from there it cost like $5 to rent a movie. No thanks.

I imagine the long Netflix wait time must be due to the sequel coming out this Friday. Maybe releasing Riffs to tie in with theatrical releases isn't the best idea?
