I'm posting a picture on behalf of my new puppy, Remington J. Nugent. He's a pointer mix that chases butterflies and was afraid of stairs for 3 days.

That's a cling-free sheet he's chewing on.

Hey man, that is one cute dog, mind if I watch it for a few days?

:D :D :D

Oh, in response to the old Simpson's photos --

Here's me sitting on the Simpson's display at our theater in Esco (cell phone pic, so yeah):

And a bunch more of JP in the element...... a couple are me after I've had a few drinks =P

wow did this thread ever get derailed :)

well, I'll defend both irregardless and DVD's / 90's

The first IS a word (although it shares the EXACT same definition as regardless)
and the second is more esthetically pleasing (not to mention something of a standard).

Am I the only one here that thinks its funner (;) ) to say "irregardless"?

Yes.  *grin*

"Irregardless" is a redundant word, and there are as many people (and word processors, apparently) who would disagree that it is, in fact, a word.  I'm one of those people.

You after a few drinks looks like me after HALF a drink.  Well, you know, except I'm a girl and stuff.

Mr. Webster, as it happens, is not one of those people.  Nonetheless, he is very clear in his exhortation to, "Use regardless instead."

Correction... ALL OF THOSE are after drink-festing..... (except for the Simpsons one)

Hey, it's the shirt model girlie!

It's nice that you found a restaurant to take her to where they don't mind if people go pantsless.

Mr. Webster also considers "McJob," and "scrunchy" to be real words.  I don't trust Mr. Webster as far as I can hurl his book at a passing ex-boyfriend.

Wow, that was surprisingly violent.  I'm going to go watch My Little Pony or something.

I can't decide what's funnier - the dog's name, or your new avatar. SERPENTINE!

I hate "irregardless" with a passion

Oh and people writing, for example, "the 60's" what possession of 60 are you referring to? Aberrant Apostrophes must be eradicated.

THANK YOU! It's the '60s. The apostrophe replaces the dropped 19.

Don't forget ginormous. What's the definition for scrunchy anyway? A type of elastic hair band that most often end up collecting on the shifter of girls' cars?

Raven

Hear are the definitions of irregardless  and scrunchy according to ninjawords.com which is a pretty cool site if you haven't checked it out.

irregardless

Ugh.  Those things are so ridiculous.  I've only watched about 15 minutes of a Sex In the City episode, and the entire dialogue was about women wearing scrunchies do not live in NYC.    (Which is entirely true haha)

Alright! Let's get back to your darling faces, Rifforum - leave the English idiocyncrasies to Gallagher's old routine ;)

I suppose it's about time I got around to posting here. Looking at people when they take my picture is not my strong point, but this is one of the few pictures I have of myself where I am not making a silly face or doing something odd.

Ah well.
