My favorite teams are the Bills and the Vikings and I hate the Patriots, so Thanksgiving was a great football day for me. Three outcomes that I wanted in just two games! Plus, I could watch those games on streaming without cable!

Pastor of Muppets

Thanks for all your feedback on the sports streaming info.

I figured this out a couple days ago.  The basic cable package from Comcast, at $40 a month seems to have what she needs.  I told her that.  Her daughter told her that.  Her sister told her that.  But somehow this information is slipping off.  It's not like a thing where they say "no you're wrong".  It's more like if you shoot Superman in the back.  He doesn't notice anything happened.  Or like if you said you were incredibly thirsty, and someone puts a large bottle of water in front of you, but you don't register that drinking the water will quench your thirst.

It's actually kind of maddening to witness.  She doesn't seem to know what she wants, and when she looks directly at it, she doesn't think it's what she wants.

Well she's looking into YouTube TV right now.  At 65 bucks a month, that seems a little steep for my taste, but it's her money.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

Chiefs won to keep best record in AFC and have the leagues easiest schedule from here on out.

More surprising was the Packers playing the Eagles close. Rodgers left due to injury in 4th quarter and while he didn't pull out a win, Jordan Love looked surpisingly decent. Would probably be best for the long term to give Love most of the starts for rest of the season - see if he's going to be the next starter and let Rodgers heal and come back for the last home game as a finale to his career.

The Bills are banged up and have a difficult December/January ahead of them.. Just fighting to keep the AFC East will be challenging enough and then where will we stand in the Playoffs is a toss-up right now.
Next game is TNF against the Patriots in NE
Then the Jets in Buffalo
Then the Dolphins in Buffalo
Then the Bears in Chicago
Then the Bengals on MNF in Cinci
Then Patriots in Buffalo
We shall see.. :-X

Sounds like Aaron Rodgers is cleared to play this week against the Bears and intends to play as long as Packers have a chance of making the playoffs. While not technically eliminated, playoff chance is very small. And they'll probably beat the Bears to keep that small chance alive another week.

And now my favorite two teams have both beaten my most hated team in less than a week. Pretty spiffy.

RVR II

And that completes the @$$ whoopin in BAHSTON 24-10 Bills!!!
1 patriots TD at the beginning of the 1st qtr and a complete shutdown until a 3 pt FG after the 2 min warning in the 4th
Bills go to 9-3 :highfive:

RVR II

After losses by the Dolphins and Chiefs yesterday, The Bills are not only in 1st in the AFC East but now hold the #1 Seed (for now) in the AFC Playoffs
Sorry, but this makes me very happy ;D
Still have a tough schedule to go so we'll see if we can hang on to this lead..

ihavemyreasons

Chiefs were on the verge of blowimg out Denver when things turned towards end of the first half and then they barely pulled out a win. Win is a win, but man that was ugly.

RVR II

The Bills win over the Jets was ugly but we got it together in the 3rd qtr and held off a Jets come back :o

RVR II

Whew!!! The Bills hold on to win against the Dolphins in Buffalo with a winning FG 32-29 and heavy snow falling in the 4th Qtr :o
Bills punch their ticket into the Playoffs for the 4th straight year and hold on to the #1 Seed in the AFC

The Bills had some sloppy plays (int, fumble) but got back on track and pulled out a massive W 35-13 over Da Bears

And Win their 3rd Straight AFC East Championship and hold onto the #1 Seed

So every single AFC South and NFC South team are now Below .500  :o
WTF is going on in the AFC and NFC South ???

ihavemyreasons

Sure didn't see the Packers winning 3 in a row and thought being @ Dolphins for Xmas would be a sure loss. Still have an outside chance of making playoffs. Need some help and have to take care of the Vikings and Lions at home.

ihavemyreasons

When they were 4 and 8, didn't think the Packers had a realistic chance of making playoffs. Heading into today, needed to win out and a Washington Salamanders loss, or win one and get a lot of other help. Other help didn't happen, but Salamanders lost and they beat the Vikings. So at 8 and 8, win next week at home against the Lions and they're in as the last wildcard, lose and they're out.

But favorite play of the day:
2nd down and 7, Patrick Maholmes passes complete to Patrick.Maholmes for a 6 yard gain (tipped pass that he caught and ran for 6).
