Last night's MNF game between the Bills @ Bengals was suspended..
Per Anthony Cardillo (Mend Urgent Care CEO) AND The Buffalo Bills organization - Damar Hamlin suffered an upper body hit that was hard enough to cause trauma to the heart between heartbeats which led to a cardiac arrest. This would still allow Hamlin to be able to get up briefly - and then collapse. Hamlin was on the field with no pulse which caused the terrifying scene on the sideline for the Bills players. Doctors revived Hamlins heart back into a normal beat. Now the main concern is how much damage occurred to Hamlins brain due to the absence of oxygen for nearly 9 minutes (although CPR was performed). This explains why Hamlin needs assistance breathing but has normal vitals. :'(

NFL UPDATE ON BILLS-BENGALS GAME AND WEEK 18 SCHEDULE
The NFL continues to be in regular contact with the medical team caring for Damar Hamlin, and also the Bills and Bengals organizations and the NFL Players Association.
After speaking with both teams and NFLPA leadership, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell informed the clubs today that the Bills-Bengals game will not be resumed this week.
The NFL has made no decision regarding the possible resumption of the game at a later date.
The league has not made any changes to the Week 18 regular season schedule.

I'm seeing 3 options here:
1: End the game with the score as is which would knock the Bills down to No. 3 in the Playoffs seeding.
2: End in a tie which would again knock the Bills down to No. 2 in the Playoffs seeding.
3: Reschedule it after Week 18 but when...

4th option - cancel game - both teams end season only playing 16 games - go by winning percentages for bye.
Not saying I like that option - even though it would hand my Chiefs the bye with a win on Saturday - but it has proposed.

NFL postponing game due to what happened an example of NFL doimg something right.
NFL not being more definitive in what they are doing a day later is more typical of Roger Goodell.
Don't want to seem insensitive as most important thing is dealing with the medical emergency and pushing all the week 18 games back a week to a week 19 - having Bills - Bengals as only game in week 18 - and just having a week in between the end of the playoffs and the Super Bowl might make the most sense but we all know with the money involved that that won't happen.

So, here's what could possibly play out from Week 18:

1. Buffalo and Kansas City both win or both tie – a Buffalo vs Kansas City championship game would be at a neutral site.

2. Buffalo and Kansas City both lose and Baltimore wins or ties – a Buffalo vs Kansas City championship game would be at a neutral site.

3. Buffalo and Kansas City both lose and Cincinnati wins – a Buffalo or Cincinnati vs Kansas City championship game would be at a neutral site.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler pointed out on Twitter, "The Chiefs are still in line for the No. 1 seed, but the Bills get an advantage in these changes, too — avoiding an AFCCG in Arrowhead. Buffalo wasn't crazy about going back there a third straight year. Instead, it would be a neutral site."

Green Bay run ended when Rodgers threw an interception trying to make a play that just wasn't there. Was common for him all year. Yeah, there was time left, but they looked terrible the whole game and made way too many stupid mistakes. Here's hoping again that Rodgers retires. He's had a great career but Packers need to move on even if it means a year or two of sucking more.

Boo Monday night playoff game.Know they annonced it before season, but still don't like it.

RVR II

Yeah I would rather they play 3 Saturday games and 3 Sunday games myself.

Boy, the Bills game vs Miami was a mess, almost a disaster for them!
The Bengals come to town next weekend and they better get their sh!t together by then >:(

ihavemyreasons

When Bills were up 17 to 0, I started doing some stuff around the house thinking it was going to be a blowout. Came back to living room a short time later and it was tied. Mostly close games this round.

ihavemyreasons

Yea! Don't have to hear anymore about Tom Brady the rest of the playoffs.
And Dallas is going ti have a practice squad kicker after 4 missed extra points.

ihavemyreasons

Get why Mahomes wasn't happy about being taken out when he got hurt and could barely walk (which led to longest TD drive in Chiefs playoff history by backup QB Chad Henne). Don't get why they let Mahomes play last 5 minutes of game when they were just running out the clock.
Here's hoping Mahomes heals quickly because I don't see them beating either the Bills or the Bengals if he can't move

Eagles/Giants game. Great first half for Eagles fans. Not for anyone (like me) wanting to see a good game.

Currently in St. Maarten and I'm really debating watching the Bengals @ Bills game later today..
I'm on vacation and I don't want to get all pissed off and stressed out if my Bills play like they did vs Miami last weekend :-\

Lost internet on the ship with 10:24 left in the 4th of the Bills game and I'm so glad I didn't go watch the game in the sports bar. Met 1 other Bills fan on board and he said the same thing that he wishes he hadn't bothered.  :-[
Not interested in what their excuses are/were, it sounds like it was a total embarrassment across the board.
At least the Cowchips lost so there's some solace in knowing that

Also I am opposed to coaches on teams currently active in the Playoffs being allowed to interview for coaching positions with other teams... Wait until the team's season is over first. Maybe our OC Dorsey would have had a better game plan if he wasn't focused on interviewing for a head coaching job in Carolina before our game!

ihavemyreasons

Yeah, NFL not like college where current environment calls for filling college coaching openings ASAP for recruiting and transfer purposes - NFL coaching decisions can wait.

Not feeling good about Chiefs chances against Bengals. Being at home will help a bit, but they've lost to Bebgals last 3 times and Mahomes wasn't hobbled in those games.
