Rifftrax 2020 wants

[Bickle]

Likely it's best to consider a single distributor, remember that not all movies may be available.

Morgan Creek (Sony Distribution)

Battlefield Earth Live edition
Freejack
Soldier (Kurt Russell)

Warner Bros Pictures

A Sound of Thunder
Gymkata
Catwoman (Halle Berry picked up her razzie, who knows?)

Miramax/Dimension (Lionsgate distribution)

Fortress (might be a major rights issue, it showed up on Blu-Ray for a month and vanished)
Equilibrium
Mimic

Lionsgate

The Arrival (Charlie Sheen)
Solar Crisis
Stargate

MGM

Robotjox
Buckaroo Banzai (you know it'll be great!)
Teen Wolf

Figure Fox and Disney are now hard no

The guys are announcing the titles, doing a Q&A, and launching this year's Kickstarter on Patreon Feb 19.

I'm still holding out hope for a Rifftrax Live of Twilight.

I sure these will be way off, but here are my picks:

Revenge of the Ninja (A companion piece to Miami Connection?)
Hercules (w/ Lou Ferrigno)
A Very Brady Christmas

...and a very very dark horse: Disaster on the Coastliner with William Shatner's hairpiece

[The Lurker]

Anything from the Cannon Movie Tales series

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannon_Movie_Tales

Some selections of interest:

Puss in Boots (starring Christopher Walken and Jason Connery)

Red Riding Hood (Starring Isabella Rosselini and Craig T Nelson)

[Johnny Unusual]

Here are some we could use...

Masters of the Universe (terrible movie but Frank Langella brings it)
The Peanut Butter Solutions (Canada's most insane family movie)
Halloween III: Season of the Witch

As for live shows:

Double Down  (probably wouldn't get a VOD but worth it for an MP3

Hard Ticket to Hawaii

And just in time for the Election...
Governor Gabbi

[The Lurker]

Some more from the Cannon Movie Tales series:

The Frog Prince (Starring Aileen Quinn and John Paragon)

Beauty and the Beast (Starring Rebecca De Mornay and John Savage)

Hansel and Gretel (Starring David Warner and Cloris Leachman)

Hard Ticket to Hawaii

HTTH is a classic. Me and my college roommates riffed that ourselves back in the day, before MST3K even existed. I can't imagine they'd riff it, though, because of all of the T and A. If they decided to cut that out, a significant chunk of the movie would be gone.

We've screened it multiple times and came away with the exact conclusion.

Shame, but completely understandable.

The campaign is LIVE https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rifftrax/rifftrax-live-2020-hobgoblins-and-amityville-4-riffed-live/

Thanks to you, the Kickstarter community, we've had SEVEN consecutive years of successful campaigns to help us fund our nationwide RiffTrax Live shows. We're extremely grateful, because these events wouldn't exist without your help!

This time, in embarking upon our eleventh year of RiffTrax Live, we've selected a fantastic duo of monstrously campy B-movies that are perfect for riffing: an ALL-NEW riff of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 favorite, HOBGOBLINS, and the most Halloween-y, cheesy horror flick about an evil lamp you've never seen, AMITYVILLE: THE EVIL ESCAPES!

We will once again broadcast the ensuing hilarity to 600+ movie theaters across America on June 11th and October 21st, respectively, thanks to our friends at Fathom Events.

I first saw Amityville 4 back when TV Guide channel started doing movie marathons themselves.  It was part of their horror marathon.

DUNE 1984 mp3
Stretch Goal ... Maybe

How long have fans here been begging for this? I know they said they wouldn't do it because of the different editions out there, but, man, what a wish fulfillment that'd be if it ever did happen.

Just saw the stretch goal for Mortal Kombat! The Bad 90s Video Game Movies Collection would finally be complete! They've done Super Mario Brothers, Street Fighter, and The Wizard. This is the last piece of the puzzle and my personal favorite of all of these. They need $425,000 to get there though. I compiled the final amounts of all the previous Kickstarters and noticed a steady increase. Crossing $500k seems very possible, though it may be cutting it close if this year's titles don't excite people enough:

2013 - $264k
2014 - $265k
2015 - $250k
2016 - $620k
2017 - $430k
2018 - $501k
2019 - $539k

That 2016 anomaly is the MST3k Reunion/Time Chasers btw.
