What song are you listening to right this minute?

[MartyS (Gromit)]

Been re-watching Dead Like Me and this song always sticks with me, and there are several versions on Youtube:

Got Don McClean American Pie on the turntable right now.

Just watched the episode of Stranger Things 3 last night where this song plays. Inspiration or coincidence?

Also, do songs you have stuck in your head count for this thread? Because I've got the theme to Netflix's DarK in my head and I love it:

Coincidence on the American Pie song.

Songs stuck in your head are called "ear worms", and there is a thread for them.

And only ten years late!

I came across another great song by the Runaways yesterday. "I love playing with fire". Anyways I purchased the version by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts by mistake. There is a difference in instrumentation, I think the Runaways version sounds better.

This is the finale from my current favorite album.

Completely never heard/heard of them before 51 minutes ago. Many thanks.

I feel like I've unearthed lost treasure with this, I suppose because I'd never heard it and am the center of the universe.

"A taste of India" By Aerosmith.

Sorting through music files on my PC and came across this, been years since the last time I listened to it:

New single from Nightwish, from their upcoming album Human Nature. Sounds promising.

Doers it occur to anyone else that we're essentially cyborgs now? The tech may be in our hand rather than physically implanted, but the result is the same.

This is the opening track from Ayreon's latest album (2017), The Source. I bet I've listened to this album 10 times in the last. It is phenomenal. Arjen Lucasson writes these rock/metal operas and gets a ton of well known guest vocalists. Well known in the prog rock/metal scene that is.
