What did we learn?

Pastor of Muppets

I learned the origin of that ever popular phrase "It could be a pile of shit out of somebody's asshole!"

I learned that the Bronx Warriors operate primarily out of Brooklyn.

I learned that a multibillion dollar arms dealing business with 60% market share for some reason requires the CEO's daughter to continue to function.  The board of directors and / or shareholders cannot pick executive leadership any other way.

I learned that in the future world of 1990, The Bronx will become a lawless jungle dominated by rival gangs with really stupid names.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.

TriffRax

I learned Vic Morrow and helicopters shouldn't be in the same movie.

I learned Henry Silva was a cooler villain for doing villainous things in the Bronx than Vic Morrow.

I learned only one character in the film had a last name. Everyone else was named after something stupid, like garbage. Not the musical group, which would have been cool, but actual refuse, like what this film is made out of.

I learned Vic Morrow didn't learn his lesson in doing Italian movies after 'The Last Shark', and decided to appear in more.

I learned Fred Williamson is moving up the list for number of appearances in MST/Rifftrax movies. This is his third entry, right? Nearly all of them are post apocolyptic in some fashion.

I learned hair spray is not a rare commodity in the lawless Bronx. Beautiful coiffed locks for all in this

I learned some Bronx gangs take dance to intimidate their rivals.

I learned I will laugh at people having legitmate wipe outs on motorcycles, much like I laugh at people being run over in the Philippines. This makes me a bad person, but at least I know how to laugh.

I learned Hot Dog from 'Kill and Kill Again' is not the most annoying guy named Hot Dog the guys have ever riffed. What the hell...

I learned I prefer my Italian movies to have rats eating people from the inside out. It makes them at least .05% better.

I learned once again a lead actor need have no discernible charisma to be a lead actor. As much as we might make fun of Joe Don Baker, he has a presence even in terrible movies, unlike Trash, or anyone in a David DeCoteau film.

I learned that from Ian Ziering in Sharknado.

Pak-Man

I learned that the most important aspect of gang violence is having a unique brand.

I learned they can't spell simple words, in the first few minutes, the text on the screen reads in part "...The authorities give up all attemps..", misspelling 'attempts'.

This movie feels like a stupid version of The Warriors.

Nice catch there :spammer:

I learned the soundtrack in this sounded suspiciously like The Apple. Really go listen to the beat. Do The Bim in the Bronx!
I learned there are unlimited supplies of food and fuel a lawless place. That's really nice of the government.
I learned Fred Williamson would do any movie to cash a check. He was in more Italian movies than the country of Italy.
I learned that watching a sequel to something like this doesn't really matter. This movie has nothing to do with the first one outside of what three cameos?
I learned that I really missed a "Warriors come out to play" riff

Fodder's just this guy, you know.

I learned that the city that I grew up in, Amarillo, TX, is now the new Fort Worth to Mike and the gang. It was fine when I left it 37 years ago!

I also learned (via IMDB) that, like me, the Hell's Angels on set made fun of the way that Trash walked.

I learned this too. I also learned that since I have lived in Downtown Brooklyn my entire life, I have apparently lived all my life in the Bronx. BRB, going to be a Yankees fan now.

I'm not going to pretend that I was smart enough to figure this out on my own.  Mike was right when he said that the film makers were counting on people not knowing the difference.

You seem to be banning every user with a post count under 10.  That was a very sincere comment on the riff. Everyone has to start somewhere.

Before you judge how I moderate, do a Google search of their IP/email address. . .

If you see the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge nearby, the movie is set before the 2010's and there are skyscrapers on the other side, it's in the Neighborhood which is now called DUMBO (or District Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). Just a heads up if you're ever wondering.
