Why don't you just ban them when they've actually spammed, instead of saying "Oh they'll probably spam."  It reminds me of Minority Report.

I screen all new members this way and yes there are actually new members here that I checked out and they are legit..
There's others that do get through before I can catch them and they leave a shit trail mess to clean up afterwards.

Actually I use a VPN, and when I emailed support they said that's probably the reason. So now I try to make sure my VPN is disconnected before I log into this forum.

He was right that he was not a spammer, but that I was banning every new member with a post count under 10 or that I had some sort of social club going on here that excluded new members was completely false.
