Watched Space Children with "Century 21 Calling" just after an ad for the iPhone....

Funny how every generation of whatever phone of computer there's always the "And you can remotely turn the appliances on and off from wherever you are..." spiel.

You'd think after all these years - if it really worked and was affordable for the average person - it wouldn't be a selling point any more.

Well, accidental turning-on has always been a problem...

First time ever watching 801-Revenge of the Creature. Now I understand how they made the transition from Trace to Bill, Other than that I thought it was very funny, though the version I saw was off google video and the sound was out of sync. So I'll get it open on my handy Adobe Premier and fix that audio. How I love machines.

Finished Outlaw...That was a great episode. "You disgusting WOOORRRMMM!"

Moved on to The Space Children and Alien from L.A.. A wonderful double dose of dull surprise!

The Beast of Yucca Flats - I honestly think I love the Progress Island U.S.A. short more than I do the movie with this episode. "AH! I'm having a freakout up to 10 years later!"

well I adore the sinister urge, but I had to get over the pain of how bad the movie was before I began to adore it. Same thing with Merlin's shop. But I didn't see the shows in order or anything so other than mike vs joel and trace vs bill I don't know what season is which.

...both, kind of.  I stopped caring about The Sinister Urge about 2/3rds of the way through.  Sometimes even riffing can't make a movie watchable.  Skydivers was really terrible too.

EDIT:  And Girls Town and Bloodlust both sucked.  So, 4 out of the 13 I've watched recently.

Girls Town is one of my absolute favorites.

Just finished watching Prince of Space, one of my alltime favorites. I LIKE IT VERY MUCH!

I couldn't stop laughing at the riff at 51:00 "Haaa-oh, well no..."
Mikes performance of starting a hearty Krankor laugh and then changing his mind just slays me. He does it again at the 1:19:00 mark, too.

"I'm ashamed of my talkshow."

"Swing me that way trusty string!"

"Oh, for crying out loud. EACH. OF. YOU. WILL. ENTER. A. SPACE. CAPSULE."

And of course all the "Bukawk" riffs. I wish there were more of those, but I respect them not going overbord with the easy joke.

Did I miss it or was there no "chicken of tomorrow" reference?

603 - Dead Talk Back - fantastic
604 - Zombie Nightmare - good
605 - Colossus & the Headhunters - good
606 - Creeping Terror - terrible
607 - Bloodlust - didn't like
608 - Codename: Diamond Head - quite enjoyed
609 - Skydivers - ugh
610 - Violent Years - GAH
611 - Last of the Wild Horses - Not good
612 - Starfighters - much better than I remember, but still only average to good
613 - Sinister Urge - GAH

So that makes 7 I didn't like and 6 I did in the first 13.  :/

Your taste is in your tush.  I suspect the ones that you liked for for the wrong reasons.

I agree with you about the top 2, but I love the third as well. But my fav of these three is Dead Talk Back. "It's hard for him to make friends."

Damn I just watched Space Mutiny, that is easily one of my favorites now.  The goofy names, the Santa Claus Riffs, Kalgan/Calgon, I mean I love never having seen so many of the Sci-Fi era shows, because it's like I'm getting new episodes, and I just loved this one.

Girls Town is my favorite MST3K episode.  A fun movie with some really funny riffs.
