I never skip the host segments, even if they suck (which they almost never do).
Yeah, I never skip them either, unless they are Joel centric.

The closest I come are the S7 Pearl ones, to be honest. And I think MJP is hilarious, I just...can't fucking stand the "Clayton...Clayton!" over and over.

To each their own. It seems to me that if the viewer isn't crazy about the host segments, they could just use that as an opportunity to stretch their legs, go to the bathroom, or grab a sandwich. That's mostly because I don't like skipping anything other than advertisements though. Actually, there are episodes where I find myself more interested in the host segments than the movie.

THE QUEEN!!!

watched GIANT SPIDER INVASION. Oh the horror and the joy. I love this one. But this time around I realized the blonde woman (the lush) is a regular actress----she's in the original Manchurian Candidate! That's when I yelled out a Darth Vader-ish "NOOOOO!"

She's also in the original Star Trek "Who Mourns for Adonais?"

Lieutenant Carolyn Palamas.

ok I watched FUTURE WAR again and, man, is that a bad movie. the hand puppets, the bad acting, the incomprehensible storyline---this couldn't even be saved in post. but the commentary is pretty dang funny.

I watched Time Chasers last night. That one, apart from being a really good episode on its own, holds a special place for me because it was the first episode I ever saw.

It was late one Saturday night, I was flipping channels, and there it was on Sci-Fi. Probably the same situation as a lot of people. There was this kinda corny movie on, and there was Mike, Servo, and Crow making their quips and it cracked me up.

I had heard of the show before, and my brother would change to it every now and then, but i didn't really know what it was. That was the first time I paid attention, and I was probably finally old enough to really get the show. I was probably 15 then.
I used to have an image here, but Photobucket got cheap about remote linking. I guess I'll have to think of something witty instead. Which I will. Later. It caught me by surprise, in all honesty. It's hard to be clever on command, I mean, YOU try it. Be funny: NOW! See, tough. So, gimme a bit, 'kay?

The Thing that Couldn't Die

I really love this episode. Aunt Flavor Flav provides some great riffs and "You're all evil and I hope you all have snacks" is one of my favorite riffs of all time.

Squirm.

Sort of reminded me of 'Giant Spider invasion' but waaaaaaaaaaay ickier.

This killed me:
"what if he doesn't come?"
"Mum, that's private!"
