When did I say anyone should die?  I was just saying that since the government is now talking about taking over search engines to stop people from stealing movies and games and we now have copy protection so strict it means some products will not work for the people who paid for them why are we not punishing the people who do the stealing?  A lot of this stuff punishes people who have never broken a law in their life.  If the choice is between punishing everyone who giving out harsher punishments to the people who really do break the law I am in favor of the latter.

So you steal RifftraX and you are fine with kids stealing video games and action figures? Movie do have these things called trailers, those are samples of the movies. Go on Youtube no need to steal.  Personally instead of putting copy protection on everything and punishing people who pay good money and don't steal I say send everyone who steals a movie to prison for the rest of their life. Don't punish people who have not done anything instead punish the people who break the law in such a way that no one will dare break it again.

Look I was trying to make a point that everyone who wants to watch a movie or game is being punished for the crimes of a few,way to completely miss the point.  I was making a point that it makes no sense to me to punish everyone for the crimes of a few and if anything has to be done(and I am not sure it does)then the logical thing to do would be to punish the pirates not the people who paid money to see the movies or play the games.  Do you understand now?  Sorry if I confused you.

I was making a point about the government over reacting but also trying to point out that piracy is not a 100% victimless crime.  It can hurt the people who work on films but because it also makes a case for more copy protection and laws that hurt those who don't break the law.

I am trying to make the even handed point that stealing always hurts someone but also the government is over reacting right now.  People need to stop stealing and the government needs to stop over reacting to this stuff.

Doc, you never confused me. I did completely understand your point. The hyperbolic statement that we (I say we because I download movies and TV sometimes) should be in jail for the rest of our life was just a little over the top, that is all.

TheUnabeefer

This is stupid. I am gonna go download a movie I don't even want to see just to spite you all....

....and I am going to get the worst cam shot I can find!!!  :P
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

In how much we love the song Movin' Right Along?

No, I think it's appropriate to continue it here.

Man, I really, really love the song Movin' Right Along.

One time, years ago, when my wife and I were holidaying in a small town, and we had the car before our current one that still had a tape deck, we were driving around to other small towns, but had no tapes and weren't too interested in the radio. We stopped at a small op shop and found the Muppet Movie soundtrack on cassette!*

What a find! It sure was fun listening to/singing along with Movin' Right Along while driving through the countryside!

*Along with an EP of Australian band Ratcat

The Muppet movie is my favorite musical of all time and Moving right along is my favorite song in it.

Does anyone know if a soundtrack Cd was ever released?
