Darth Geek

Who's joke was the one when Alicia says her parents were killed in a car accident, and the riff is:

"Some lunatic in a Batmobile ran them off the road."

I want to thank you SO MUCH for that. My favorite joke of the movie!

Minnesota

Chaos

Yeah, that was a really good one. You cracked both me and Chris up.

I think one of my personal favourites was another Adam Bush gem (I really wish he and his friends had been able to submit more than 10 jokes, because we kept I think 6 of them in the final script, and he got TWO long jokes in), where he listed the symptoms of MacGreggor's Syndrome.

Movie: It's stage one of MacGreggor's Syndrome.
Riffer 1: He's starting to enjoy soccer, drinking and fighting.
Riffer 2: In stage two he's going to start wearing a kilt, eating haggis and chasing rabbits out of his garden.

That's Gold. GOLD, Jerry!!
"First there was Chaos, the vast immeasurable abyss, Outrageous as a sea, dark, wasteful, wild." -Milton

Riffs from the script I submitted (that I and two friends collaborated on):

In the rocket, when Freeze is fiddling with a pair of joysticks and looking at the screen / instrument panel, as though he was playing a video game:
(as Freeze, in the same manner he was shouting "Get the Gem! Kill the Heroes! Yes! Yes!" earlier) "Yes! Get the mushrooms! Kill the Gumbas! Yes!"

Scientist on the phone with winner of bidding, he says he'll have it "shipped by over-night mail":
(as winning bidder on phone): "I'll be sure to leave you positive feedback on your Ebay profle."

Ivy's breaking stuff in the lab saying "I am nature's arm, her spirit, her will..."
(as Ivy) "Her PMS!"

Barbara's explaining to Dick about why she got into the motorcycle racing stuff "I guess all the speed and danger helped take me out of myself"
(as Barbara) "That and the heroin."

Robin & Batgirl are falling, Robin says "I got you", but his grappling hook fails. Batgirl's succeeds and she says "No, I got you."
(as Batgirl) "Babe." (that's all I wrote on the script, but it got modified to a singing part, unless someone else submitted a riff with it like that, which is quite possible. it seemed to be a pretty obvious joke right there.)

Alfred recovers at the end of the movie and comes strutting into the room, looking like Hugh Hefner:
(as Alfred) "There's a noticeable lack of bunnies in the mansion, sir."

MacGruber

NICE!  I'm glad our coconut head and mcgreggors syndrome made it.  that rocks!

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, hopefully friday.

Dignan and McGruber FTW!

Woo hoo!  Yeah, Friday sounds like a good time to watch it!

Mine were:

(Freeze escapes from the rocket on his wings)
"I am ze beautiful butterfly."

Ivy: Kiss me and I'll tell you.
Robin: Tell me and I'll kiss you
Kiss tell and I'll me you.

My friend's was:
This is the least violent hockey game I've ever seen.

As the Red car with Ivy & Bane inside drives toward the screen: "Austin Powers in.. Batmember!"

stansimpson

Whoops.  I think I took credit for one of WholeLottaMilka's.

Mine was "Tell you kiss me and I."  Similar, but I hafta say the right one was chosen.

My copy of Batman and Robin is VHS, and I refused to buy it on DVD.  Unfortunately, this prevented me from getting the DVD time codes necessary to participate, but I think you guys did an awesome job.

I'm currently finishing up my review of this rifftrax for my site and I'd like to give credit where credit is due.  Does anyone know who is reponsible for the following quips:

"It's like someone dared Schumacher that he couldn't offend every sense at once."
and
"How can he resist lettuce-covered eyebrows?"
I thought I was Dale.

QuoteIvy: Kiss me and I'll tell you.
Robin: Tell me and I'll kiss you
Kiss tell and I'll me you.
That was great. I tried thinking of something for this. Couldn't.

The rocket breaks through the skyroof.
"If you want to view paradise..."

This was one of those jokes that had me laughing so much I had to pause the track and get all out of synchy!

Pure genius comedy.

Thanks. :)

I finally went through and counted 'em up, and it looks like about 60 of mine made it in.  This pleases me.

That's too many for me to clog the thread with, so I'll just take credit for the riffs that other people have said they enjoyed.  Those would be:

* The humping logos narration
* The Kyoto Protocol joke
* Young Bruce's bedtime story
* "Got some dirty dishes downstairs..."
* "...Justice, thy name is Batman."
* "...waiting for the car to spiral slowly out of the floor."

And I will also give a shout out to my two favorite riffs, because they're both really stupid, so nobody else is ever likely to love them as I do.

* "Go 'rilla!  It's your birthday!  It's your birthday!"
* "Oh, bother."

The second one in particular amused the hell out of me on paper, but the truly horrible Winnie-the-Pooh impression really puts it over the top.

Oh, and I'll also mention, "Meanwhile, at P.F. Chang's," because Mike for some reason starts cracking up right before reading it.  He probably just thought of something funny he saw earlier that day, but I like to pretend he thought my dumb little joke was hysterical and just couldn't contain himself.

Blue Raja

I only got in one this time, which seemed pretty appropriate hearing all the other wonderful stuff everyone else submitted:

Mine was the line during which Alfred opens his CD tray, where Kevin (as Alfred) goes: "Ah, good to see the drink holder still works!"

Interesting story behind that line - in a computer class I took at a local college, one of the students there shared a true story about an older gentleman who called a computer company's help line, claiming that his "drink holder" was broken.  Of course, this befuddles the computer tech to no end, until the older customer finallly informs him that it's that "drink holder that comes out in the front."  And that's when it dawned on the guy - he was talking about his CD tray!

I didn't think it was the BEST line I had, but every joke I did hear used was either on par with mine (just worded better) or was infinitely better.  It's the best kind of competition there is - 'cuz everyone wins! 8)

I said it from the outset: "Just ONE line, that's all I ask."  So I'm definitely happy with the result.   :clap:
