I forgot about Casino.  It felt like we were in to the 6th hour of the movie, so I went and got some popcorn and sat on the bench in the lobby.

I didn't care for that movie either.  I really, really don't like the pastel suits and gold-bangley Sharon Stone.   Boo on Casino.
Casino was just too drawn out to tell of a story of two guy's rise and fall in power. Needed more pumpkin in my opinion.

That begs the question: What on Earth could have possessed you to walk into it in the first place?

I walked out of 300 and turned off Wedding Crashers

I also did not care for Wedding Crashers either.  Some of the slapstick was funny but overall I found it to be boring.  I'm not sure why it's considered such a great comedy...

Good luck chuck was a movie I walked out of.
Not trying to bash Dane Cook as some of his comedies are great, but his movies are pretty bad and I avoid them at all costs.

I actually liked Employee of the Month, but that might have to do with the fact that I've actually worked at a Sam's Club and it was good therapy.

Yep, it was lame. Someone took a good comic movie and then smeared a chick flick all over it. It was gross.
I didn't like it because it was sexist (get ready for it......against men). I thought that the idea that men need to fabricate lies about themselves for women to be interested in them was pretty offensive (to men and women). Maybe that theme lessened later on in the movie, but I could only get myself to watch the first 15 minutes or so.

I didn't like Wedding Crashers cause it was just too much about sex and its lame excuse for a plot. I agree with you that it was a degrading comedies, but that what movies have been reduced to nowadays, sadly.

QuoteI've only walked out on the 2005 The Producers.

You and Obi-Wan have something in common.

I've never walked out of the theater myself, but for the first time recently I turned off a DVD, a stand-up routine by Katt Williams. Especially as a Cincinnatian, I found it horrifically offensive, and I decided that I had far better things to do with my time than listen to this person misinterpret events and spew the n-word at me.

Last night we watched "Shooter" and I wish it had gone to join the Katt poop pile, but Obi-Wan liked it and he had just watched "Bridezillas" with me, so I owed him.

Chaos

Oh man, Bridezillas. That crap was PAINFUL. I think you owe him more than one. ;)

Seriously, people. I get that weddings are big, but $40,000 for one day? Take that money and pay for half of your fucking house, instead of putting yourselves into permanent debt for nothing. And a 50% chance of LESS than nothing, since half of you will be getting divorced in under 5 years anyway.

Our wedding was excellent and everyone had a good time and it all looked very nice, and our total bill for wedding, reception, and honeymoon was less than $3,000. That's a big part of why we own a house now, way younger than the "average age" for home ownership, instead of living in a tiny, soul-sucking apartment.

I'm glad I avoided that one when I could from the sound of it.  As soon as I saw the ad for it the first time I thought it looked like the exact kind of pretentious crap my former roommate would eat up like meatloaf.  Bleh.  Even if the guy wasn't a complete asshole, it was worth moving out just to get away from his dvd collection.
