Thus far, I've only walked out of Stardust, about ten minutes before the end, around the time

I turned off plenty of DVDs and films on TV... too many to count. But it takes a lot for me to actually walk out of a theater. In fact, i've only ever done it once: Nothing But Trouble.

I'm very sorry that you actually paid to see that movie.

I came close with Evan Almighty last night, but it was still a sorta cute film and was at least somewhat enjoyable....

Ended up turning off Lost Skeleton Of Cadavra and coming back to it later, though I debated actually returning....  I know most people here love it but I found it pretty boring and some parts annoyingly overdone...

I've never walked away from a theater in mid-movie.  As far as turning off the player mid-movie and not going back I did that to Last Temptation of Christ.  Got half-way through and just shut it off.  Decided I'd go back and watch the rest as soon as the rest of what I'd seen made sense to me.  It's been six years and counting.  I've fallen asleep a lot during movies, but that's mostly because of my work schedule wearing me out.  Though I did fall asleep on purpose during Napoleon Dynamite.  A former friend of mine wanted to show it to me, and he loved it so much I felt guilted out of leaving the room.  So I just pretended to watch and zoned out.

And no, he's not a "former" friend because he showed me that stupid a movie.

You are not the only one that didn't like that movie. I thought it was just pointless and really drawn out, all it needed was a flying plane that travels through time and we got the remake of Time Chasers.

@pyro - Evan Almighty was alright, I think it had a little too much overacting which turned me off from it.

I know I've done this to you before before (brought up books in a Movie thread in response to one of your posts) but, the book is so much better. When I watched the Film I thought it was ok but a rather poor adaptation. Kazantzakis is a fascinating writer.

I don't recall any specific movies that I turned off at home.  Too many to count actually.  I have only ever walked out on one movie,  Senseless.  I'm not sure why I even went to see that one.

I nearly walked out of Lost In Space also.

The closest I ever came to walking out on a movie was during The Village, specifically at the part were you find out the monsters are fake and it's just a bunch of hippies squatting in a state park. I think the only thing that kept me in the theater was that I was stunned, kind of like a bass that's been the victim of blast fishing.

Somehow I made it all the way through this one too.  Soon as the credits started rolling a woman behind me stood up and practically shrieked "NINE DOLLA'S FOR THIS!"  The entire audience burst into therapeutic laughter.

I can't recall walking out of a movie - usually the way it works is that I decide before spending the money that I would regret this movie.  I think I was forcibly made to see... oh god,...
... I hate to ... even talk about it... especially in front of you guys... *ahem* .. I had to see..  LADIES MAN *weep weep*  Oh god...

It was SO AWFUL... I wanted to leave but my friend was with me and I didn't want to be rude to her... but ... it was burning my eyes...

Well I guess this thread shows me how bad my tastes really are:

The Televator walked out of the Time Machine- I have this movie on DVD.
Junkyard walked out of Johnny English-I have this on DVD.
Chaos walked out of Jurassic Park 2-I have the whole series on DVD and even like the 3rd one.
Chris walked out on Medicine Man-I don't own this one but thanks for reminding me.  I liked this movie.
MontyServo walked out on Lost in Spcae-I have this on DVD.

Oh well.  I like what I like.

Hebs you are my new best friend.

I never liked ovaltine, it tasted like sand. But I loved yoohoo when I was, like, 5. :)
