So they've cut out the middle man and just had the Transformers make themselves puke.

Okay new interview from michael bay. Take what you will from it. His biggest selling point was the fact the robots have more personality and its darker. I guess that's a step in the right direction.... I did get a kick out of the fact that he referenced his previous movie in a didn't know what we were doing kind of attitude. Seemed fitting even though he was jokingly saying it.

Sideswipe

thats only what he told the interviewer, and they guy doing the interview only talked to him for 5 minutes.

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

In the 80s, the most popular Transformer was the one that turned into a tape deck. Something we could identify with. So what would the most popular Transformer turn into for us now? A 360? A mortgage? Divorce papers? Obama?

That's the problem with today's emphasis on compact technology; All the most modern Transformers could be lost down the couch cushions.

"Okay, I-Podotron, I'll handle Starscream, you take care of Megatron. Roll out!"

"But Optimus, wait! I can't-"

"Prepare for oblivion, Autobot!"

"Shit."

He'll make Megatron listen to Celine Dion.

I'm guessing a DvD boxset of lost,or $30 Blue Ray player.

Granted, this would apply only to Decepticons, as Autobots have to be automobiles.

(Which indicates to me, Decepticons would always win, because even if an Autobot is a giant tank, a Decepticon could be a button that turns the tank off.)

Positive thing about those clips- Many of the scenes take place in areas that aren't the exact same color as the robots. Also, some of the new robots have actual, you know, color.

Ughhh... so it appears other than the action parts, we're in for some more stupid humor apparently. More of the same I suppose.

And the robots are still a jumbled mess of parts!

And to those of you who think it's somehow great that Megan Fox is in this? It's work like this that keep her out of porn where she belongs.

The only way I am seeing this is if there is a Rifftrax of it!

Be strong Darth Geek ... Michael bay said this one was going to have more transformers... and have a darker theme. So, I'm guessing that means making a transformer obnoxiously cry and shaking the camera violently for 95% of the movie. If nothing else, at least we got through the masturbation jokes in the first movie. He wouldn't dare do that twice.

Darth Geek

You're right, it will probably be a joke about robot masturbation this time.

I have said it before and I will say it again, this should have been directed by Bob Zemeckis or Joe Dante. Everything that the people who love the current movie would have been satisfied (action, explosions) and those that hated the current movie would be satisfied (more understandable robot design, less shaky cam, no "Avid fart" editing, better story, good characters, etc.).
