More importantly, will Mountain Dew a tron finally be made into a toy? As much as I hate the movie, I would buy a toy if he actually transformed, and shot little dew cans.

Junkyard

I think they had a  toy out, actually. Didn't transform, though.

I hope they let him show his acting chops.

They'll do that by having him shoot out diet Mountain Dew.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

I shoot out diet coke several times a day. I'm more of a method actor.

With the talents of a Thai hooker, it seems.  :)

Pak-Man

Well he doesn't transform, but there IS a Robot Heroes figure of him. (His official name: Dispensor)

So if there were a transformer who shot out feces, would he be called Shittor?

That's just ridiculous!

So there's a big nationwide screening tonight of Transformers 1, where there will be a new trailer/footage shown and supposedly a message from Michael Bay.  Many seem to think that some few these might actually be screenings of #2.  I got tickets to one here in Denver, going to load up the Transformers rifftrax and jsut in case they're showing us the first one.  DISEMBAUDIO DONT LET ME DOWN!

Ended up being Transformers 1, some people did leave.  I still enjoyed the first one and didn't mind seeing it ont eh big screen again.  I totally failed to synch up the rifftrax and my MP3 players Fast Forward sucks so that was a bust.

How much money did American car companies throw away in advertising dollars in THIS movie?
Chrysler and GM money spent is Taxpayer money, so the American people helped finance this movie.

QuoteIf GM pulls out, Paramount might have to spend $30-50 million extra, the amount usually covered by brand partners like GM, to market its Transformers sequel.

Well, be fair.  GM and Chrysler inked the promo deals and paid out the money well before they got semi-nationalized.  We didn't pay for the product placement:  we'll just be paying for it later.  In the theaters.  :rimshot:

Well, them spending money on garbage like this is the kind of waste that got them to the point where we are now, so we financed Transfomers.

What person bought a car based off of a movie??  I'd like to see the market research on that.
