30 Days of Night- Okay film. Kinda dragged, a few odd contradictions, but otherwise pretty solid.

I read somewhere the other day that Josh Hartnett has developed only one on screen facial expression - they call it Blue Steel, of course.   :)

That's true. Give him time, though- some day he'll have all 3 of Tom Cruise's.

I've never thought of Nightmare Before Christmas as anything more then "alright." I don't see what people get all jazzed about.

Chaos

I always found the hype and uberlove for Nightmare Before Christmas to be annoying. I could never see this as anything other than "just okay." It's billed as a cinematic masterpiece, but I found it trite, predictable, and a little boring. The visual effects were nice, the songs were "meh."

Now, Grim Fandango... *that* would make an awesome movie, if Lucas Arts would be willing to licence it and somebody who actually has talent tackles it. I can even agree with you on using the same visual style as N.B.C., Imrahil (since the game looked like that anyway, and it worked very well).

If I was to give the film rights to Grim Fandango to anyone (and I wouldn't), I'd give it to Pixar. I know they don't do claymation, but they're the only people I'd trust to get the story right.

Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck

The Curse of the Living Corpse - the other movie by Del (Horror At Party Beach)Tenney.  The one with Roy Schieder and Candace Hilligoss.

Made me pine for the guys on the beach and their "bikini areas"..... ::)

ONLY if they got the original voices to do it!

No way! Celebrity stunt casting.

Carrot Top as Manny Calavera!

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Well I went to watch Iron Fisted Monk this morning but then I discovered QI and had to watch the first 6 episodes straight away!

Marvelous Show.

And the last film I watched was one of my all time favorites:

Didn't they try to do the same thing with Sam & Max and it was a flop
Every day of my life I find the wisest and best to fix our attention on the Good and the Beautiful. If you just take the time to look at it.

There was a short lived Saturday morning cartoon with a horrible voice for Sam and none of the humor that made the game or the original comics fun, if that's what you mean.

Call of Cthulu-
Pretty awesome. Basically a creatively made silent film that puts Lovecraft's famous short story into moving picture. It honestly helps to read the story first, though.
