You know the drill, tell us what it is that you learned about really bizarre and high localized weather systems this time around?

I, for one, learned that a home on a high hill can become flooded and demolished without any of the homes or areas around it also becoming flooded and demolished.

I learned that sharks, which are fish and thus need to be in water to "breathe," can live for a pretty long time when outside of the water.

I learned that sharks swim remarkably well in about 2-foot deep water.

I learned that the ocean can... flood?!

I learned that leaping chainsaw first into a shark's mouth will in no way hurt a person in the shark's stomach.

I learned that acting ability (and lack thereof) is apparently genetic. As the son of Ian Ziering's and Tara Reid's characters is the worst actor in the movie.

I learned that a movie called SharkNADO won't just have a tornado in it, but a hurricane and water spouts too. Sharkjustreallyanyswirlywindformation

Miku Fan

I learned that the Rifftrax guys won't hesitate to Rip Tara Reid a new one.

And I learned it never stops being funny.

"Call, Matt." - Tara, honey, you're talking into your compact again.

"Look out gin, Tara's home!"

They were brutal towards her. And, dammit, I loved every minute of it.

:Tara's phone rings:
"TaraReedwhateveritisisI'lldoit!"

"Welcome to Taradise, bitches!"

MerryWanna

I learned that there could actually be a srupider 'global waeming scenario' movie than Birdemic.

Though I lack a citation for this, I think this is actually true.

Yeah, the majority of shark attacks occur in shallow water.

But in water as deep as a the tires on a short school bus? (Which is literally like two feet) Especially when we're talking about fresh water and the sharks having the ability to gain enough momentum to leap out of the water and land on the top of cars and buses several feet high.

Sharks may attack in "shallow" water but such waters are usually "shallow" in the sense that they're "not ocean deep", but we'd still be talking about waters several, several feet deep and they mostly attack there because, well, that's where most people usually are.

Sorry, don't buy the sharks swimming and attacking people in waters as deep as a rather moderate flood at all.

Yeah, it is pretty rediculous on that front. Since the size of the sharks we see wouldn't, or would barely, be able to swim in water as shallow as we see.

It wouldn't be fresh water, because it's ocean water swept ashore by the storm.

You are right, the jumping is extremely ludicrous.

Trekker4747

That's right the "ocean flooded."  Which, however that works.

I learned you can hit a moving target, 400 ft in the air (seriously look at the helicopter's altimeter) with a handgun. Even better, he only tried the handgun after he realized the shotgun was out of shells.

Sharkicanes are very specific about what kind of marine life they'll pick up. You need a very delicate balance of 100% shark / 0% everything else in the ocean, for it to become a full fledged land based Sharknado. Now, if we were on the coast of Virginia (like I am), we'd most likely have a Jellyfishnado. I'm not sure if that would be better or worse.
