I like playfully making fun of people but it sounded like they, and especially Kevin Murphy really hated Shatner. And I like Shatner...

But it's rather silly to dislike Mr. Murphy just because of that. He gave me too much laughter as Tom Servo. And thus I welcome Murphy back again with Halloween and The Matrix and hope Mike and him ripp these movies new ones...

Locksley

I'm not even sure what the argument...oops, "discussion" is about anyway.

Let's look at the thread name:

"Kevin..."

On this earth walk many people named Kevin but the one we are talking about here, correct me if I'm wrong, is the one who does Rifftrax with the Riffmaster himself. So that explains the "Kevin". The three periods "..." is an ominous sign and might tell you that someone has a beef with "Kevin" or dislikes him in a way that would surely be explained in the thread itself.

Argument being, not enjoying the Star Trek 5 Rifftrax in which Kevin first co-riffed.

Pak-Man

It was supposed to be about pie. Don't know what happened.

WouTar

Pakman, not everything revolves around pie. Only Joe Don Baker does.

My point exactly. It scares me that you know that Hercules guy's real name. Sorbo...

Can I get an extra dozen or so Kevin's in a easily managed post? Thanks. I'm a collector.

According to IMDB Kevin Murphy is sometimes credited as Krusher Kringle. Well, that just scares me senseless.

I'm easily scared.

I put the one that everyone loves to hate at the top of the list :)

I agree with Sharky, though i think she started to hit her stride once she was in the castle and she could play of Observer and Bobo better, it came together better, like an anti-Mike & The Bots type group.

Definitely Pearl's strongest incarnation. Those three were good foils for Mike and the Bots. (Especially since both pairs of non-humans were played by the same actors.)

I also submit the following to the Kevins Collection:

This is a new game now? Sweet!

I'd be happy if they stopped having Kevin riff stuff.
I just recently saw the Star Trek V rifftrax and was quite disappointed.
Kevin just came off as angry and hateful (and really offensive in parts) instead of goofy and fun like Mike and Bill.
I was surprised at how unfunny most of his comments were since I always enjoyed Tom Servo on MST3K a bit more than Crow.  When I want to sit down and have a good laugh, I simply prefer harmless insults (such as Mike making fun of Patrick Swayze's shirtlessness or good actors losing dignity from being in X-Men) over Kevin Murphy cursing people and calling for the deaths of cast members.

The X-Men rifftrax, on the other hand, was hilarious and as fun and enjoyable as I had hoped it would be.
I was very pleased to see that Bill was much funnier than I ever gave him credit for with MST3K.
(I haven't gotten to Top Gun yet, unfortunately)
I say get Bill and Trace (or Frank Conniff) to riff with Mike instead of any more Kevin.

People sometimes just really want to complain about something I guess.  Good to see this has degenerated into silliness.
