Agreed.

There's a fun article documenting all the Freddy-related deaths over here.
Our own Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) makes an appearance in the third movie.

Here's a Kevin that appreciates the Power Glove!
(I dunno how to put a pic in a post, so here!)

It's easy! just add the letters "img" in a set of brackets like this [] right before the url of the picture, then "/img" after it (in brackets as well)

Then you're good to go!

Leave it to Nintendo to invent a three dimensional control for a mostly two dimensional system.  Wouldn't be surprised if they come out with socks that let you walk in other dimensions for the Revolution.

The power glove was the one accessory that you always had a friend who knew someone who had it.  I still for the life of me can't even imagine how it worked, or even how it was supposed to work.  Were buttons and movements assigned to tweaking each finger of the glove?  It can't possibly work the way it does in The Wizard, where you can pretend to grip an invisible steering wheel with it.

Nintendo is the worst when it comes to perepherials for it's systems and not supporting them by releasing games.

Can you name more than 3 games that where made for each of the following?

There was that stupid robot (NES)
Light Gun (NES)
Power Glove (NES)
Power Pad (NES)
the Super Bazooka light gun thingy (SNES)
plus some others I can't think of right now.
Excuse me while I go sink-wash my unit...

The mouse that came with Mario Paint.  That fly swatting game was strangely fun...

Light Gun = The Adventures of Bayou Billy, Baby Boomer, Barker Bill's Trick Shooting, Chiller, Duck Hunt, Freedom Force, Gotcha!, Gumshoe, Hogan's Alley, Laser Invasion, The Lone Ranger, Mechanized Attack, Operation Wolf, Shooting Range, To the Earth, Track & Field II, Wild Gunman

So the PowerGlove had two functions- like, it could be a standard controller OR a motion-sensitive controller. That's pretty sweet.... I want one.
J to the Pizzo
P to the Jizzay...

They are fairly expensive (at least I feel it's expensive) out on eBay...  But disposable income + nostalgia = Powerglove

There are also two games that were made to take advantage of the powerglove.. Super Glove Ball, and Bad Street Brawler.

In closing, the powerglove is nice... but the Max owned.

It could be argued that the Wiimote sprung from that same creative DNA...

Argued, but eventualy stiffled by the parties involved having to stop and search for inhalers and then rush home before "Buffy" comes on.

From banning Kevin to the Nintendo Power Glove...this is why I love this forum.

Say what you will about the PowerGlove, but I'm really looking forward to playing with my Wii this November.
