I think the line "No confirmation has been made yet regarding the final cast of the movie." speaks for itself.

That, and interviews at Power Morphicon kind of implied they won't be "reprising" the original characters, as creating new ones... so she wouldn't be playing Kimberly Hart if she's even in the movie at all. (which I doubt she will be)

I call bullshit. That casting (including Liam Neeson as Zordon) is way too good to be true. The only believable casting choice is Chloe as Kimberly.

Yeah, those two words in connection with Power Rangers doesn't make a damn lick of sense. PR needs to be over-the-top and crazy or it's no fun. Why make a morose movie based on a kids' superhero action show? The red ranger is not Batman, for fuck's sake.

Even so the "reboot" term tends to refer to a franchise and not just films, the same way the 21 Jump Street movie was a reboot of a TV series.

So they're basically doing an Americanized version of Gokaiger, which is what Super Megaforce SHOULD have been.
