I had an awesome-great time with four of my favorite people ever

Four?! There were only 3 riffers: Mike, Kevin and Bill...
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

Well I hope it was a grand time.  Sadly, my theater was closed due to an ice storm.  :(   Hopefully, a VOD or re-run will happen.

I think a DVD or VOD release will certainly happen as it has with all of the other Live! shows.

QuoteThis short DID NOT seem like 26 minutes at the show.

Oh, it's twenty-six minutes alright.  Believe me, I know.

I wish I'd thought of cutting out the Jack-in-the-Box-in-your-Nightmares jumping around for three minutes.  Would've made it five times easier and ten times more watchable.

I knew someone on here did a riff of it! it was pretty darn good too, as I recall.

Just watched the RiffTrax Christmas Shortstravaganza dvd last night, and it reminded me, did anyone catch the reference in Santa Claus Conquers the Martians that alluded to Santa prompting Rudolph in the shorts riffing? I forget the exact line, but I was totally like this when it happened:

I caught it.  It broke me just like the first time I heard it did.

I caught it, but it didn't make me laugh (just like the first time) and apparently nobody else in my theater found it funny this time, because you could have heard a pin drop. Which is weird, because when they did it in the Shorts Christmas special, my theater was pandemonium.

I cought it. It was the "I need you tonight" line. I thought it felt kinda forced actually. Just trying to reference something that was a big hit last time.

Now the Torgo reference, that was awesome! And I loved that Bill actually refered to it as pandering.

I remember listening to the Grandma Cooked the Dog song before the show and thinking "oh, that's going to get some flak", but apparently not. I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite song of the show. Is there a full list of the songs they played somewhere?

I haven't seen a full list, but off the top of my head I remember them playing "One Christmas at a Time", "Christmastime is Wunnerful", and "2600" from Jonathan Coulton and John Roderick's "One Christmas At A Time" album, and "Grandma's Christmas Dinner" and "Christmas Eve Eve" from Paul and Storm's "Do You Like Star Wars" album.

I also remember the credits listing the Doubleclick's Hobbit Christmas song, but I don't remember actually hearing it.

Maybe even earlier? Their last shorts DVD was released in late October. I'd bet that either we'll get the Santa VOD/DVD/Blu-Ray at the same time this year.
