Recently rewatched the Birdemic studio version (after watching the live VOD a couple times) and realized one of my favorite riffs was missing from the studio version:
"Yeah, I'm gonna be late, I'm stuck behind some jackass who doesn't know how to walk."

So even if they only add a few riffs, it could still make a world of difference.

I will probably wait until the DVD or VOD for this one. The Night of the Living Dead studio riff (three riffer) is in my top ten but if it's like some of there previous re-riffs it will mostly be the same jokes.

The three riffer is a strong one. I'm glad they picked it over Carnival of Souls, but would have preferred a Halloween shorts show. Still, looking forward to no gorilla gram, because in this one there's only a child troweling her mother to death and no disgusting, sickening nudity to worry about.

Thrashalla

There is nudity, actually. There's some colorless zombie bewbage going on in a few spots.
Any issues with the RiffTrax main page should be directed to support@rifftrax.com Attempts to engage with me directly about such matters will result in ridicule.

I'm fine with it, NotLD is a good movie but also a great riff, also excited to see what changes/updated they make to the riff as well as seeing the colorized version (which I assume they'll use since they went with the colorized versions of Reefer Madness, Night on Haunted Hill and Plan Nine for the live riffs.)

Nevermid, I see it's going to be the B&W version which is cool, the B&W version is probably better as some eeriness is lost in the transition to color.

As soon as Starship Troopers was over, I said I was going to get tickets to this one. My mom quickly said, "Me too!" She hates horror movies. OPERATION MAKE FAMILY LOVE RIFFTRAX IS COMPLETE.

Having a hard time getting excited over this.  Wasn't too crazy about the NOTLD riff.

Been a while since I've seen it though.  Need to revisit.  May be one of those that get better the more I watch it.

I remember not liking it as much as other riffs of theirs. But a lot of that may have been just how slow the movie is.

I didn't care for the riff all that much either.  I think this was mainly because I love the movie and can't believe how much it kept my attention despite how old it is.

Oh no...are you going to jump on Twitter and complain that they're missing the point that NOTLD is a brilliant satire of the Vietnam war?

No.  I'll probably just watch it.

Me too, I ended up taking my Dad to the Star Ship Troopers show and he loved it. He used to watch MST3K with my sisters and I as kids and is now remembering how much he likes it.

I think we'll probably be close to starting from scratch on this one. But we haven't had much of a chance to talk about it yet.
