Trust us, if we could do it in other countries, we would.

[torgosPizza]

So no commentary track on the new blu-ray release then?

Who said anything about that?

i know it's not you guys, it's just incredibly frustrating that nearly everything entertainment-related gets stymied by the forty-ninth parallel. stupid intellectual property laws.

[Darth Geek]

So...wasn't releasing this kind of movie on the world Dr. Forrester's plan?

[RoninFox]

Looking forward to seeing the list of theaters. Got my fingers crossed for Alamo Draft House.

Mike's got Stockholm Syndrome.

AWESOME!!

I personally got pissy about the assumption it would definitely be a joint effort with the entire Cinematic Titanic crew... and that there would definitely be a commentary on the blu ray release...

...because all the rabid speculation as fact would case things like this:

So no commentary track on the new blu-ray release then?

Who said anything about that?

[Bang]

Rifftrax on Facebook - when a user commented about the comparisons to the MST3K Version:

We'd hope that with the new jokes and live environment it could be seen as its own thing, but we understand your reservations! As the live show grows nearer we'll try to change your mind

[TheUnabeefer]

I was just saying that I'd much prefer a commentary track on either one of the forthcoming blu ray releases.  I'm never going to see a Rifftrax show in the theater. I'm just not.

Oh man, you're missing out. It's some good fun!!

Is it the price, or just that you don't like theaters?
