Why don't they just send their hits back to be killed by the dinosaurs? Or just shoot them? The hell is the advantage of this Looper system?

I was wondering that too. And I would think that ORGANIZED CRIME would have a hell of a lot of better use for TIME TRAVEL than just offing a bunch of their enemies. I would think the first thing they would do is go back and invest and effect history so they are super rich and powerful. That is all they really want, anyway. At that point they wouldn't have to worry about using time travel to help out hitmen.

I'm so excited for Looper, but all I know about the movie are Rian Johnson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and the guy from Primer is consulting on time travel....and I guess Bruce Willis.  I'm on complete lockdown on this movie.  I'm not going to look at any trailers, pictures, or movie descriptions.  I can't wait.

I'm doing the same thing. I did it for successfully for Cabin in the Woods, so how hard could it be to do it for this?

I saw half a trailer for Cabin in the Woods, and I think I've already been spoiled.

I've done a pretty good job for Dark Knight.  I've just seen a couple screen shots of Catwoman and Bane.  I haven't seen any trailers or the prologue thing.

Without spoiling anything for Cabin in the Woods, there's really no plot twists or surprises to speak of.  The first couple of scenes in the movie basically spells everything out.

For that one it isn't so much a sense of spoiling the story, yeah (well, maybe those last-act story revelations). I do agree about that. But it's still a matter of just... discovering, if you will, what that movie's really all about. It's just something that works wonders when you go in blind.

Exhibit under repair.

Is that for "Number 13"?  I remember hearing about the original "Number 13" (an early uncompleted Hitchcock film that only had a few things shot and no one seemed to know what it was actually about) and wanted to write a story about it and then found out they were already making a movie.  Darn.

So I guess there's going to be a Maniac Cop prequel.  If you just asked "what's Maniac Cop?" then good.  Also the awesomely named Nicholas Winding Refn might direct, so there might be reason to be interested.  Or not.  Whateves.

LEGO : the Movie coming soon.

QuoteLEGO is set to burst out of the big screen in 3D on February 28, 2014, Warner Bros announced today. Directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, who also wrote the screenplay, the computer-animated adventure will be feature some classic and some new characters from the world of the construction toys. Long time Robot Chicken director Chris McKay is also attached as co-director. Lord and Miller worked together on this year's 21 Jump Street and 2009's Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. The first full-length LEGO film, which is still in production, is based on a story by Lord, Miller, Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman. LEGO 3D will be produced by Dan Lin and Roy Lee.

I think this could very well be awesome.  I like the creative behind this project and have always enjoyed the humorous touches of the Lego games.  Will definitely keep an eye out for this one.

Invader_quirk

Oh, boo. The last news I had heard about the Lego movie was live action mixed with stop motion Legos. I was excited for that, but not for this.
