I learned that a guy who can lift an entire suspension bridge on his own, needs the help of a guy with quills.

That guy's mutant sauce is pretty weak. I mean, he has to come in for a hug you to kill you!

I learned that your main fighting force, who has a skeleton made of metal, is a good think to use in a battle against a man who can manipulate metal.

Thrifty

I learned that Kevin never saw Over the Hedge.  How is that even possible?  How can someone not have seen Over the Hedge?

Thrifty

I learned that after being dead at the bottom of a lake for several years and magically coming back to life, you can also be bone dry.

Raefire

I learned that despite how much I dislike this movie, I still agree with the choice to cast Kelsey Grammar as Beast.

And seriousy girl, you could use some revitalizing lotion. Your rage lines are out of control!

Actually, I have to agree with that. He did a surprisingly good job.

I learned that somebody was willing to pay to keep someone born with no higher level brain functions alive for a good 50 or so years.

Seconded. He was awesome.

Tony Farms AKA Puma Man

I learned that Famke Jannsen got paid to essentially stand around and look mean or like someone just hit her in the head with a pine cone.

And Storm's powers seem way under used.  She can create freaking lightning and tornadoes and this movie she like gently cleared some fog out of the way.

I was surprised they didn't do any Last Airbender jokes. Storm's basically an airbender. Jean's a waterbender. Pyro's a firebender. Don't recall any earthbenders.

??? "Hey, Iceman, I found that Last Airbender kid! Let's beat the crap out of him!"

Too bad there's no emoticon I can use for *slaps self*.

That aside, I was thinking specifically in terms of their powers resembling (and being ripped off by?) The Last Airbender. Rising waters, mist gathering ("Ahhh! Light mist!") & fire taunting. So, to rephrase this in relation to the header:

-I learned that the mutants are a bunch of Benders.

On a related note, from this movie I learned that it was possible to make Famke Jannsen look ugly.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

Darth Geek

I learned that it is possible to make Storm's hair look even worse than in the first two movies. Solution? Put a Tribble on her head!
