Who would you want in your werewolf movie?

Watching Werewolf now, and got to thinking: Who would you want in your werewolf movie?

First off I need somebody really tough to battle the werewolf in the final scene. So I would go with Eddie Deezen's tough brother, Sylvester Deezen.

And of course you need a love interest. But I would want someone sensitive that the audience can relate to. So I choose Vin Diesel's sister, Ann Diesel.

And as the old wise mentor to the hero, Roger Clinton.

Also for the fans, I'd have a cameo by the late great Michael Landon's brother Lyle Landon.

So who would you want in your werewolf movie?

Hey!  I'm takin' my time here!  I've been thinking about this all day, and now we're talking about it being over?  All right, fine, better get this in before we get all "thread-close" happy...

First of all, I would approach the subject differently.  I'm talking the main character being more sympathetic, like the original Wolfman movie, or the John Landis film.  Ergo, I can think of nobody better to steal the hearts of all the ladies out there...before eating them as the monster...than David Naughton's vastly underrated brother, Doug Naughton.

Second, the one who has to slay him is always the good-looking one.  Why?  Why can't she be somebody the audience DOESN'T identify with right off the bat, somebody perhaps on the heavier, less attractive side, until she finally reveals that one inner weakness, and we can find something wonderful to cling to?  Thus, I think it best to hire a lady who doesn't get much attention, Kate Beckinsale's sister Bertha Beckinsale.

Also, we need makeup effects, but on a budget...no CG in this film!  I think it would be a good idea to approach the good people at the Mike Henson Workshop (cousin to Jim), or, if they're not available, Percy Winston.

And, of course, Jim Mussolini.

He is a versatile actor. And strangely enough, he smells like apples, too.

Oh, and for my werewolf movie, I need a techie person. Somebody who can give the hero his weapons. So I chose Charles Bronson's son, Herbie Bronson.

No, you're thinking of Ray Liotta's brother, Steve Liotta.   ;)

HUZZAH!  CGI werewolves (especially crappy CGI werewolves...yes I'm talkin' to YOU American Werewolf in Paris) just aren't scary.

My werewolf film would source from Whitley Streiber's 1978 novel The Wolfen and would stick to the source material so that it is a bajillion times better than Albert Finney's 1981 Wolfen.

I'd like to do the film with an entire Arquette-only cast.
