Have you seen Gallipoli?  :)

Oh, I know there's a few of those movies, I mean, don't forget about Johnny Get Your Gun, or All Quiet on the Western Front, I just mean that there aren't a lot.  It's a war I'd like to see covered some more.
I like artificial grape flavor, but I hate real grapes.  A paradox!?

I want to see Brock Lesnar as Eddie Brock/Venom.

I want to see a period correct ninja movie with NO special effects.

I want to see a big budget Luch Libre movie in the same style of the Santo and Blue Demon movies of the 60s. I would cast Dos Caras Jr. and have him fight vampire women or robotic Santas or something. It would have to be done without any tongue-in-cheek humor or retooling for the modern day audience or any other demographic bullshit to ruin the fun of it.

II've seen plenty of boobs, would it kill Hollywood to show a little hoo-ha?
I really do like pie.

Brock Lesner would have been PERFECT casting for Juggernaut. Not that idiot with the Ram Man headgear they had in X3.

Scribblesense

An epic, apocalyptic, messianistic, monster movie.

Think Clash of the Titans meets the entire canon of Godzilla meets Road Warrior. One man versus an army of Space Needle sized behemoths that have destroyed civilization as we know it. Throw in some giant robots and you're golden. It may not be smart (in fact it may physically drain away your IQ) but is it too much to ask for a cinema experience that sates my natural bloodlust for watching giant things die? And only that? I don't want pseudo-philosophical BS spat in my face, I don't want to see the awkward romancing of whatever centerfold Hollywood has chosen as flavor of the week, I don't want to see "character development" unless that character is getting developed by an eight meter claw to the face.

I guess, I want to see a life-or-death adrenaline rush that emphasizes sleek, visceral action above all else.

I was excited for Reign of Fire when it first came out because that's what I thought it would be. Instead, it was crap.

That's my rant.
"Hey, you kids! Those boxes are for shipping! Not for creating a world of pure imagination!"

That sounds cool. Heck, I'd settle for just more monster movies. Real monster movies, as in creatures, not humans turned into creatures. I mean, balls to the wall, Pumpkinhead style monster movies. The Host, Feast (more the first one, not so much the second and third), etc.

Of all of X3's crimes, Juggernaut is by far the least.

Oh, wait, he actually said "I'm the Juggernaut, bitch"?  Well...they...I mean...huh.

Well, if e had actually BEEN the Juggernaut, I wouldn't have minded. But he wasn't! They made him into a mutant, when the Juggernaut is NOT a mutant. I understand they wouldn't necessarily want to get into the whole "Gem of Cyttorak" thing unless he was the primary villain and could have an origin, but why did you have to ruin him?!

Doctor Who?

I want to see a big budget Doctor who movie with the Cybermen as Villains.  They have been underused and the Cybermen we have had so far have not been real Cybermen.

I'm actually a little surprised that hasn't been touted yet, considering the success of the series.  It might be something to do with the budget of such a project.  I don't think the BBC could finance it on their own, and they'd probably resist any interference that comes along with aligning with a studio.

Haven't they retconned Juggernaut to be a mutant, and the gem of Cyttorak just enhances his indestructibility? Anyway, I have many, many problems with X-Men 3, but Juggy's not one them. The obviously fake chest muscles looked stupid, but I think they did a decent enough job with the costume. And Vinnie Jones seems like the perfect fit to me.

You'd think from what they're raking in in the US from the Britcoms they sell to PBS, BBC America being a "premium" cable channel AND you guys still have to buy licenses for television (don't you?)....they'd have money coming out of their ears.

What ever happened to their partnership HBO films?

I think it ended after Rome was canceled.  I'm not sure but I think I read that.  Also I think BBCA is owned by the same company that owns A&E and that they just pay the BBC some money so that they can use the name.  Last I heard the BBC didn't make much from BBCA,most of the money went to a US company. Too bad because I would really like to see that movie.  The only trouble is a  US studio would most likely want production to stop on the show so that the show would not be competing with the film.  I would rather have a show then a film.

The BBC's a very large corporation.  We have something like... 20 BBC TV channels, 8 or 9 radio channels, and that's not mentioning any of the regional stuff they do.  They also pay far too much money for marginal talents like Johnathon Ross and Graham Norton.  The licence fee has never bothered me - it costs far less than the premium channels we're offered from Sky and the like.  And we don't have to put up with any advertising between shows.

Then they should have the scratch to at least co-produce a Doctor Who movie....

That is unless 1) they're thinking like Paramount did about Trek pre-Star Wars ("It's already a cash cow...that's enough") or 2) that Paul McGann movie really put everyone off the idea of movies for good.
